The left has their issues, but they don't have to deal with Dispensationalists condoning Israeli targeting of Apostolics that is condemned by sane Evangelicals and sane Apostolics

While Dispensationalists applaud Israeli bombing of ISIS radicals in Syria, that they put in place last month, for bombing Apostolics and religious minorities. Meanwhile sane Wvangelicals and sane Apostolics are saying, this is exactly what everybody knew would happen. You can't complain about something you hoped would happen last month.

But the right has to coalesce around these disagreements or else we become Canada.

Wat?

Him and the OP are off their meds today.

For the most part, I think Israel should have free reign in Gaza after 10/7. I think it's a shame the process of Israel becoming a state didn't begin 2 centuries before. It was warranted given the treatment of Jewish people in Europe in the centuries prior that precipitated its creation, and if what's playing out in Gaza, had played out in 1825, nobody would care in 2025.

The issues I have revolve around a tank shelling a church resulting in the death of Christians and the ISIS regime allowed to take control of Syria is slaughtering religious minorities. Israel has accepted responsibility for the action; but individuals of certain American denominations have diminished the lives lost by claiming they're not real Christians, and instead, are claiming them to be the equivalent of combatants and supporters of Hamas. With regard to what's occurring in Syria, individuals of a certain American political persuasion are attempting to rile up support for military action against a regime whose installation they supported last month. The support for the military action is supposed to be based on the results that were predicted by the detractors of last month's military action.

You can ad-hom or realize you're alienating individuals who are left wondering if Israel would have just shelled the Christian church in 1825 anyway.

That's an interesting thought.

I think that if Israel were established in 1748 instead of 1948, then "Palestinian" nationalism would have been suppressed. Forced population transfer was not considered a "war crime" until 1949, and the USA did the Trail of Tears c. 1830-1850. So if the Arabs refused to admit defeat in multiple 1700's and 1800's wars against Israel, then they'd face the fate of the Sudeten Germans...or worse.

I don't know which side the Christians would be on.
