I do not think Palestine is ready for a two state solution either. Both sides need to make amends, like Rwanda. As it stands right now, people who tell the truth are punished in both societies. For Israel, that hidden truth is the Nakba.

The original purpose of the thread was to discuss the metamorphosis of the Democrat Party from Pro Israel to Anti Israel. We've had pages of finger pointing at Israel, Palestine/Hamas. What the heck's going on?

The IDF has killed a lot of civilians in the last two years. There is a limit to what October 7th can be used to justify. Israel is losing support all over the world due to their own actions. They're giving have no one to blame but themselves.

The Palestinians crossed a line on October 7th. Watching that poor girl that was basically raped to death being paraded around naked on the back of a motorcycle while hundreds of Palestinians ecstatically cheered and spat on her is what did it for me. I said it back then: Israel needs to lay waste Gaza. It wasn't just a few terrorists that awful day. That was THE Palestinians that committed the barbarism.

I have been surprised by how many educated, professional blacks hate Jews. I work in DoD and since Oct 7th I heard heard many comments like they deserved it, they think they are special, they don't help us when we need money. It is actually pretty gross to hear.

I don't agree, but if you are right that both sides want all the land and want to rid the other side of all its people, then war it is and war is hell.

The wall isn't there because they would be "forcibly displaced".

It's there for the same reason why many of us want a wall on the southern border...
