Harry Enten went over the numbers with CNN anchor Kate Bolduan on Wednesday morning, and he showed just how much the Democratic Party had changed with regard to support for Israel and while he noted that the wildest swing was among Democrats under the age of 50, even those over 50 had made a sizable shift away from supporting the Jewish state.....

....."What are we talking about here? All right, who do Democrats sympathize more with: Israelis or Palestinians? In 2017, the Democratic Party was a pro-Israeli party," Enten explained. The issue with the Jewish state or homeland, is it was someone else's homeland before, going all the way back to the the Natufians (12,000BC). The Jewish state is just that and it is what is real at this moment. Israel and the Jews are bound together and thus cannot be separated by the mere utterance of "Israel does not equal Jews", which is a term the left wants to believe.

When the Democrats embraced Muslims/Islamists as part of their voting coalition, this was inevitable. Now they outnumber Jewish constituents and are taking control of the Party, and it is showing up in these polls.

This is good news. The wolf is fully exposed. Let's see how being anti-American and pro-Palestinian works for them in 26 and 28.

This is 100% correct. Libs want to see a "proportionate response" from the Israelis whenever muslims do their thing and commit some horrific act against civilians. After October 7th, Israel (and many others) have had enough with this path to nowhere and have decided to make a fundamental change. I think most conservatives understand this and quietly support Israel in their mission to dislodge the Palestinians from Gaza. This enrages libs.

The Jewish community used to be able to exempt themselves from being considered "white" for purposes of the Dems extreme anti-white hate policies.

Agreed, it appears they fell off the victim hood ladder of grievances.

I suspect the issue is more that many Democrat voters are obsessed with the notion of "justice for the oppressed", and they don't actually know nor care about the root cause of issues like Israel's operations in Gaza, for example. At its core, they view the Palestinians as victims, especially because they view Israel as an offshot of the West, and thus associate Israel with white people. They then associate Palestinian Arabs with brown people. Add in the racial justice narratives fed to them for over a decade, and it's not a surprise that many Democrats support Palestinians.

ETA: They also have likely largely forgotten about October 7th and see it as ancient history compared to the nonstop propaganda they see against Israel today. The fact that babies were roasted in ovens, women were raped to death, and numerous other heinous acts happened isn't enough to override their entrenched feelings that Israel is evil.

I think Dems are finding out that much of the world has "Palestinian fatigue" which includes neighboring Arab countries. No matter how much they scream and protest, most people kind of shrug it off. A lot of people are tired of the craziness from that region of the world and are willing to let Israel pursue its land grab.

Yet Americans with Jewish heritage will continue to vote Democrat.

Majority of democrats will march in pride parades, then wear a kafia and support Hamas. Then cry "more democracy" but then cry for the destruction of the only democracy in the middle east. I call them educated ******s.

You can't compare the evil perpetrated on Oct 7th to anything Israel has done. It's not even close. If Mexico launched an attack like this on the US we would do the same thing as the Israelis. Israel is fighting an enemy that literally HQs in hospitals. There is no moral equivalence between these two. Their chickens have come home to roost.
