If it was a hoax and our gov hasn't yet confirmed, that's scary.

So here we are all worried about hypersonic intercontinental weapons, but all it really takes is some large private yatch to launch a big, loud, and slow drone from a few miles offshore and you can carry any payload you want without consequences.

I read that long tweet and the 4th bullet point about the extensive training program starting in January is almost too much of a coincidence, for me. How convenient that they will have about 2 months of data on drones to use for that training.

Bottom video just means he's within five nautical miles of airports.

DJI's flight software won't let you take off within the restrictive area near an airfield.

source: I'm a DJI drone pilot, that's exactly how it behaves when you can't take off in restricted airspace.
