Well you know how Trump is with loyalty first off. Secondly if she gets the nod she suddenly becomes EFH. And she also is another strong intelligent woman and that is another finger to Cuban. Yeah I get that having Trump's ear is the real perception of power and influence.

I just remember too well what a disaster Tim Geithner was. And to a lesser exten Hank Paulson as he missed a lot of signs and concerns until it was too late.

Whomever is in that position needs to have their head on a swivel and all of their antennae up and running.

You're confusing what happened in 08 with anything the treasury did. The treasury has been the only department that's been gutted while everyone else got fat.

We haven't printed a US DOLLAR since 1971. The US treasury is tasked with maintaining a United states currency. Not a private bank (Fed).

Those guys seem to be more qualified and effective than a lot of the choices today.
