You need to think strategically guys, you don't want to take out all your best Senators especially as we need conservatives in the Senate. I really hope Trump goes with a team of the best possible talent and let's them do their jobs. He showed signs of that towards the end of his campaign and if he follows through he can get some incredible things done. It's not garbage at all. Real farmers out there are talking on podcasts, youtube etc about the topsoil erosion because of how we farmed.
When our great great and greatx3 grandfathers went to the plains there were feet of topsoil - most of which is gone now.
When you drive past a field being plowed and see the dust blowing off of it, you are seeing the food yield of a future generation blowing away.
I am thinking long term, you are thinking short term. I am thinking health and hope, you are stuck thinking of profit and fear.
I encourage you to embrace a new paradigm and I hope that you will join us on this side.

I don't read about it in books. I do it. I'm the guy out there trying to convince the farmer to use conservation tillage instead of bare plowing. I also know that organic agriculture yields roughly half of what yields are with fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and GMO's. And organic commodities are much, much more expensive. That is based on fact, not emotion.
What happens to food prices and availability when the supply goes down by half, and the prices are higher? Facts, not emotions.
We are spoiled by having the cheapest and most easily available food supply in the history of the world. But we want to make food less available and more expensive? If that sounds like a good idea to you then we will have to agree to disagree. I'm here to economically optimize food production. Y'all can keep the pc buzz words.
