FYI that's Apollo in the middle of the painting depicted with a ray nimbus, a style of halo. I'll grant you that its hard to see on a photo, but at full size or in real life I suspect it's quite prominent.

Overall I think the Paris games will be remembered for some pretty big blunders, the Seine being one of them. The other issues so far have been the cardboard beds, the lack of food for athletes, the initial ban of A/C in the village, and how many rooms lacked any kind of curtains/blinds/drapes.

After being a high level triathlete years ago this is not abnormal, heck I have thrown up over 10 times on a run. Some were my fault and some where nasty water. They did delay the race due to water quality but also not abnormal, when it is as hot as it has been it happens.
