And there were a lot more during covid and the Steele dossier fiasco. They left after having those things blow up in their face like Brown did to Kamala.

It'd be interesting to see how many MAGA folks were led to their current persuasion by Fox News and talk radio, and how many came to that camp from the "liberals & independents" crowd. My guess is, on this board, 95% of the MAGA folks are of the "Fox News MAGA" demographic.

"conservative" is an increasingly useless term.
IMO a true conservative seeks to minimize the state in all aspects of life, but now that means I'm libertarian.
Social conservatives choose to use the power of the state to form their preferred version of society, much as "liberals" do, they just want to control issues with which most conservatives would desire, albeit w/out governmental involvement.
Neo-cons are pro business, pro liberty (that helps) business, and seek a global economy regardless what country they have to invade to do it.
Populist conservative believe in most conservatives issues involving liberty and the market, but, like social conservatives, are willing to use the power of the state to get there.

Yes, there are actually quite a few posters who voted for, and even still support a man who took showers with his teenaged daughter that permanently messed her up and led to her downward spiral into drugs and sex addiction that ultimately led to needing to do rehab.

I think your Non-MAGA conservatives estimate is way low depending on how you define it. Take me as a for instance. I'm going to vote for Trump in the next general election for the 3rd time . have always voted what I considered to be right of Trump in each corresponding presidential primary. Which grouping am I in?
I guess the OP missed all the debating during the Republican primaries. Months and months of discussion on who to lead the republicans going forward. This board is far from an echo chamber.
There is unfortunately a lot more shouting down of people on the forum than there was in our first decade. The shift really started happening around the half way point of Obamas administration.
That is on the one hand.
On the other hand, this board does get a lot more users that rarely post on here and when they do they post in a way that they are looking down their nose at the forum as if there are no substantive discussion here. These users always remind me of the people that would criticize Rush Limbaugh but within about 2 minutes you realize you are arguing with a critic of the show that has never really listened to the show for any meaningful amount of time. It was certainly hard not to consider that type of critic a troll.

Groupthink? Coming from the party that controls all the news media, and up until Elon, all of the major social media platforms?
Not saying it was one-sided. But just feel like from watching these posts that the board does lean to one side.
