This. I just can't believe there is Trump supporter (or someone even on the fence) that now thinks "Oh, well....now that he is convicted of something to do with falsifying documents and a porn star (ie...more of a tabloid crime than something like Nixon) I now wont vote for him."

There just can't be that many out there like that. Hell, I'm willing to bet his poll numbers go UP after this.

The Federal Election prosecution MAY be different. But not this.

So long as people still buy groceries, they will remember the good old days of trumps presidency.

The target might have been Trump, but the real goal was to influence the 2024 election, no matter the total lack of facts and dubious legal theories of the case. This entire case was engineered for this result for strictly political reasons. Democracy must be saved even through unlawful and unethical means. The enemies of society must be hunted, the obstacles to progress must be destroyed. This better wake up the right that the left needs to be destroyed. If the right doesn't step up we know they are all complicit.

It might be. In the short term Trump's political interests went through the roof. We'll see how much it wears off and how well the "convicted felon" storyline does in the 4 or 5 states that actually matter come November.

The jury was full of morons, definitely a weakness in our justice system. Marxist brainwashing has been very effective in urban areas and has lead to a severe decline in mental stability in those areas.

I am still trying to figure out how this was elevated to a felony crime instead of a misdemeanor with a fine.

So this case was about illegally influencing the 2016 election... that the voters in NY would have voted for Hillary if they'd known that Trump paid hush monies to Daniels?

Stay away from NY state ... if you do go set your social media to private.

It's probably mostly people who are not very tuned into national news or politics that this applies to. By definition the majority of people who frequent this forum have been guaranteed votes for Trump since it became apparent he'd be the nominee.
