Weird that they settled as soon as the deposition was ordered. It would have been nice to wait until after it was done.

They didn't want to have to go through discovery and once depositions were ordered they figures that the trial was likely to move forward to the discovery phase.

This indicates that they absolutely did not want to expose to the public all the **** that Trump's lawyers would have dug up during a discovery phase of a trial..... probably exposing collusion to use propaganda in concert with the DNC to sway voters, the fact that they KNEW the allegations were false and decided to go public anyway, and probably a dozen or so other skeletons they would prefer to keep hidden in their closet.
