Packing up Afghanistan and not leaving service men to die while running like bloody cowards was the best choice, one that Biden didn't have the stones to try, but Trump likely would have. Based on his track record with ISIS, he would have flattened a few Range Rovers carting around high-ranking Taliban if he needed to to make a point.

Biden promised that this would not happen under his watch, yet it did. He over-estimated the Afgan government's capabilities given Biden's command to run like hell, against the advice of his military advisors.

Afgan is no more Trumps fault than Biden's inflation is.

Why didn't Biden listen to his military advisors when they said that the Afghan government was going to fail?

Why didn't Biden lengthen the amount of time for the withdrawal to make time to evacuate the military hardware?

Is it possible that Biden was saying something publicly (that the Afghan military was able to beat the Taliban) that he didn't really believe, but was still the best thing to say at the time?
