His tweet with that message did not assuage those who have seen anger toward city dwellers or even racial dog whistles in the video, which was filmed in front of a courthouse in Colombia, Tennessee that is well known for having been the sight of a lynching of a Black man in the 1920s.

This is a terrible pop song written by a committee to be a pandering piece of crap. It's a song for people who follow right wing news and get super worked up about supposed enemies they'll never actually encounter in places they'll never actually go, so they just have this weird impotent rage and nowhere to put it. For those people, this song offers an escapist fantasy in which The Bad Guys from The News actually come to where you are, and you can hurt them with impunity!
"Well known" ………..for a lynching a hundred years ago……………sure.Horn_in_Aggieland said:

I think arrogant liberals think they're really smart when they type out things like that. It's as if they know for a fact that someone wrote a song intentionally to be "a piece of crap". Liberals must think they are so smart they have the mentality and psyche of the lowly right wing plebes beneath them nailed down. They have to tell themselves that the real imagery in the video of real criminals committing real crimes in American cities is right winger fantasy no one will actually encounter because they want it to ignore their lying eyes and the reality they vote for.AggieMD95 said:Actual Talking Thermos said:

The fantasy is it happening in this small town, at which point the residents of the town will be able to respond violently. It's not a song about what happens in small towns, it's about how it would go down if these things did happen in the small town, which they don't. It's about yearning to have these people you only see in these images on TV come to where you are and having the opportunity to hurt them.oh no said:I think arrogant liberals think they're really smart when they type out things like that. That's pretty much what I said. A song about the feeling of seeing these things going on somewhere in the world that aren't actually a part of your world or something familiar to you in your life.Definitely Not A Cop said:

Next time you try to lie, you should check to see if it's easily refutable.

So yea, if you like misogyny, go ahead and advocate for rap songs about sex. Whatever Rows Your Boat.
Oh, but don't pretend EVER to be concerned about violence, or treating women with respect. You just showed your true colors there. I am also very sure you have never traveled, don't know history and spout whatever talking point you hear.
Some advice - Become a noble-minded Berean. If you don't know what that is, look it up.

A singer/songwriter who lives in Nashville. Has his production company find a location. One is chosen that is frequently used for any number of shows including hallmark movies and commercials used to express a small town feeling from actors such as Mario Lopez and Hanna Montana that is close to Nashville. The left is taking crazy pills….
