I know nothing about him. His voice isn't bad, but the writing was terrible

Fake ass country. Can't stand his music or his punk ass friend's music. I despise what Nashville has done to that genre and their heritage.

But….

"Bro country" has a large following of mostly younger people. Maybe it'll help.

Objectively speaking, that might be the worst Aldean song I've heard. And he's had some bad ones.

But whatever, if someone's panties are in a bunch, they might wanna ask themselves why they're wearing them.

This song is tough guy BS, meant to sell records and tshirts to dumb people.

Don't get me wrong, I think the entire aggressive and violent leftist movement we have seen crescendo since Summer 2020 is drivin by cowards who will scatter the SECOND hot steal starts flying, but I also don't buy the "it'll never happen here" crap like this video.

The only real question is what's going to trigger or lead good men to start taking action and stop calculating the risk or all the comforts and privileges they stand to lose if they go against the left mob.

Sadly, I think we will have to lose a lot more freedoms, economic opportunities and lives before the resolve is going to bare itself and we restore our country.

Looks like you won't be seeing that video on Country Music Television.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/cmt-pulls-jason-aldeans-controversial-try-small-town-video-singer-defe-rcna95014

His tweet with that message did not assuage those who have seen anger toward city dwellers or even racial dog whistles in the video, which was filmed in front of a courthouse in Colombia, Tennessee that is well known for having been the sight of a lynching of a Black man in the 1920s.

He's got a great voice, he's got a lot of cool songs. yes , it's new country , it's not like Hank Williams Jr or merle or George. guess what , he's cool , he's relevant, he's standing up to the trans movement being forced down our kids throat, his song is not the greatest of lyrics but it says great things. it's meant for today when people won't stand up and say Jack crap about anything that's going on about this terrible world that we allow to happen. The fact that the canceled culture the leftist s are all banning it should tell you this is a good thing cuz they're all at the end of the day controlled by satanist.

When somebody gets cold Cocked and they have that somebody on video, out of nowhere, unprovoked. Or someone Robs an old lady . they should tie that person or people to a pole , strip them down to their underwear like they do in the Muslim countries, and beat them with a bamboo stick on public square aired for a live television

Lawlessness is a curse
Accepting lawlessness absolutely foolishness

Not a fan of his or new bro country BS... but his messaging about trying "that" in a small town ain't completely off the mark. There's a reason folks weren't looting in Brady, Texas.

I don't think he writes any of the songs he records. Could be wrong though.

Not a great song, but a good message.

Looks like he took clay Travis' advice and put his "f you" Money to good use.

Clutch those pearls!

Jason Andean hasn't had a song that resonates with small town America since Amarillo Sky, and even that was a reach.

However, his stance that 'this wouldn't happen in a small town' is pretty spot on. BLM and ANTIFA wreak havoc in the cities because the city leadership won't do squat to stop them, but when your mayor also owns the local hardware store and the Chief of Police has a side gig mowing lawns for both residential and commercial properties, they do something. If they don't, they allow others to do something and turn a blind eye.

Small towns aren't immune to corruption, it's actually rampant, but they know not to kill the golden goose, I.e. the local businesses.

I don't know anything about him but if he is pissing off liberals and woke entities, that is always a good thing. At least it isn't lizzo in a wicked weasel bikini covering a tiny tim tune or some rap crap about "shoot yo bro in chicago"

Not an Aldean fan for country music, but I approve of the message in his song and video.

"Try that in a small town" is exactly right.

For too long we've seen Dem-controlled big cities embrace and even encourage lawless behavior, often to the harm of some of the most vulnerable citizens.

That won't fly in small town USA, whether it's upstate NY, south AL, west TX, or farm country in ND.

He just put music to the ongoing and deepening culture war in this country. Comically sad how the same media that turns a blind eye to the daily destruction of our country by leftists all of sudden wakes up to attack someone like Jason who has the nerve to call it out.

You go Jason, God speed.

I understand what folks are saying about his music in general. But sometimes you want some fast food and can't get eat steak every night. And though it's not Shakespeare I like the political message. Don't f w us coastal tards !

I owned a business in Port Lavaca and donated to several of their funds. If you called the law they were there within quick minutes!

It's not so much the "promoting violence " as it is the promoting the stop to their mostly unchecked and protected violence. These marxists do not like the public to have the option of defending ourselves, and/or impeding the work of their brownshirts.

Taylor Swift and Jason Isbell write a song or two that panders to the Left...and they're praised.

Jason Aldean writes a song that panders to the Right...and of course he's a low-talent hack that promotes anger.

Please.
