Who gives a flying F. That chain has been headed in the wrong direction for several years. Crappy service with even crappier microwave service.

And just like that, maga thinks Cracker Barrel is the greatest food in chain restaurant history again, after saying the food is horrible for the past week and they hadn't gone there in years and would never go back.
Gotta love social media.
Now, onto the next first world problem.

Clearly, like most of your posts, this sounded a lot funnier in your head than in reality.

Changing the logo doesn't fix the problem with CB, spend the $ upgrading their menu, training their staff and raising the quality of their ingredients would be a step in the right direction to solving their problems. Acting as though their logo is outdated and people aren't eating there because of the southern gentleman next to their name is just flat out stupid. MAGA, conservatives, traditionalists, etc called them out for shifting the blame for their problems, to the one thing it isn't. But to your point until they make the actual food on the plate better they are still going to struggle.

Cracker Barrel doesn't need expensive ingredients, but corporatizing a family restaurant is a real challenge from a people perspective.

If Cracker Barrel has any sense left, they should learn from the New Coke marketing disaster in 1985. Coca Cola actually regained most or more of their market share by the end of 1985…….Quote:
As Sergio Zyman, Coca-Cola's former head of marketing, said in a 1999 interview with SKI magazine, "Yes, it infuriated the public, cost a ton of money and lasted only 77 days before we reintroduced Coca-Cola Classic. Still, New Coke was a success because it revitalized the brand and reattached the public to Coke."

Alright complainers! The logo is back, so get out there and help them make up for that $50M drop in net revenue between 2023 and 2024! Uncle Herschel's Favorites for everyone!!!

Interesting...Cracker Barrel management is cracking. Today they’ve removed the LGBTQ Pride page off of the Cracker Barrel website. First 3 screenshots below show what that page used to look like and the 4th shows how it looks now. The backlash against them for going woke has them in a panic. pic.twitter.com/MIde4dvv1w

Can they bring back the maple syrup? I couldn't care less about that which has nothing to do with the quality of the food, but then switching to that half maple syrup half corn syrup ruined their pancakes for me.

Rumor going around at the time was that Coke intentionally did this to get everyone talking about Coca Cola.

This ^^
Bud, Jag and then this...it's really hard to understand after those other two a management team would pull **** like this.
And how could they commit $700m to a new "branding" plan and renovation, and have no messaging campaign prepared for it? Someone thought it was a great idea to leave an entire part of the marketing mix out of the equation.
That CEO was not capable of conducting an interview for what was going on. She was on there trying to convince you she was right instead of your own lying eyes. I can't believe she survives this; even if she is the right DEI demographic.
There were about a million ways to handle this better...focusing on food quality, fresh ingredients, etc., would have been a good start. If you wanted to do some store renovations, fine. But at least have a message prepared to explain what you're doing and why..."we're not burning down the house and store; but after 50 years Aunt May is finally is finally getting Uncle Hershel to paint the kitchen and throw some things away in the barn"... talk to your customers...not down to them and never patronize them...just about anything other than a stupid expression on your out-of-depth face.

I would pay a lot of money to get a video of some their board meetings leading up to this and after the fallout. Bet she wasn't near as perky or confident as her interview with a football player.
