Great!
So why did Troy defend the building against a gaslight hoax of nonviolent protesters?
There was nothing to defend, they were nonviolent, he should have opened the door, right?
And he was misquoted too?

What Troy should do assuming he's never seen the video and has been under a rock - is he should be asking why the flag pole guy was being lead around by police! It's actually probably good he didn't just shoot as it's possible a Capitol police officer may actually been shot as they were escorting flag pole guy around ! - by him!

Before Ashley Babbit was shot at the window someone gave the order for police or whoever they were to leave the door they were blocking! Had that never happened and there never left she likely would never had been shot. But makes you wonder why they were told to leave but the one officer on the other side of the door was ready to shoot ……..

Why didn't Trump pardon all J6 protestors? He had the authority. He certainly had time to pardon Lil' Wayne and Kodak Black.
I agree with this. Both his refusal to fire/call out Fauci et al. About Fauci Flu and handling of pardons are…unpardonable errors, imho.

All the major health organizations and government agencies were lying to him and the American people about Covid. Every damn one.

He tried to push back several times and got accused of trying to kill Americans. He never wore a mask except for when in Walter Reed, and he left it up to the states to decide.

When you think that government agencies were actually claiming to help people instead of literally trying to control and hurt them what was he supposed to do?

Other than axing Fauci earlier, which would've brought on the biggest **** storm we've ever seen, but he still should've done, if you're being lied to even as president it's a lose-lose situation.

I'm sure he would do it differently now if he could.

Chuck Schumer on the floor speaking today saying anything other than an insurrection is a lie! Saying everyone has abreast seen that it was an insurrection. Saying that Fox should not show any more video!

I'm sure all the Republicans will demand he be truthful and they will be outraged………

Nope because most are on his side and were on the the 6th!

I wouldn't say most but more than comfortable for the Republican side.

And there's a reason they don't want more video shown because it's breaking up their narrative.

The fact that he doesn't want it shown should tell even stupid Democrats and libs how jacked up this thing is, but it wont, and it's mostly lies.

If you're sure of the truth, then you don't mind it being shown. Democrats are just scum.

I really just want an apology from democrat politicians. Sorry we imprisoned you with slow trials and false imprisonment. Same goes for wuhan.

Why just democrats? GOP was fine with the false narrative and those that might have not been never had the backbone to speak up about it.

Anyone know of harsh comments made by DeSantis on this whole event ? I have not seen them.

Crenshaw helped the false narrative of the Capitol police officer that was not killed by protesters! Anyone heard him denounce this false narrative!

Ted Cruz at least walked back his domestic terrorists comments but even he was too willing to go along with the false narrative!

McConnell and McCarthy were perfectly fine with the false narrative!

Nikki Haley and Trey Gowdy spent an entire radio show trashing Trump for what he caused on Jan 6! Nothing negative on the democrats!

I expect the democrats to be the lying leftists they have become ! What's apparent now is how much the GOP are in it with them! Worse are the alphabets!
Did any of those people know that the government lied? How can they say anything other than the investigation is a sham and a political witch hunt, which they did if they are not privy to the info?

Now, we are all privy to the info and I would be shocked if they now don't have a rather strong opinion.

Unfortunately, in the case of Jacob Chansley justice was not coming only the wanton disregard for our Constitution on full display by the Democratic Party leadership.

Why was this released to someone we all knew would raise the temperature on the left? Why wasn't there some sort of actual house committee investigating the J6 committee to include this footage? I have believed from day 1 it was a set up but releasing it to Carlson really just fans the flames of division. Maybe that was the goal.

The goal was to never release it and keep using Jan 6 as a tool to bash the right.

Your post is eye opening and should be read by everyone.

You bring facts that are completely ignored by certain posters that either do not care about facts ,or worse, know the facts but are hell bent on the destruction of the Constitution and the individual rights and privileges granted it guarantees.

There is a distinct possibility that he was speaking to establishment operatives, not just some crowd of random protesters. He wasn't defending anything.

It was his first official day on the job. He hadn't learned yet how devious and underhanded the left can be, or aware of all of the events that led up to that moment.

Likely not. There were a lot of complaints from attorneys that they were not being afforded access to any other video from that day, other than what the prosecution was willing to show them. Became a Brady issue.

Justice Dept. arrests hit 1,000 in connection with Jan. 6, and new accusations surface in latest prosecutions
The Justice Department has reached a milestone in its prosecution of the U.S. Capitol attack, confirming it has arrested at least 1,000 people in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol, nearly half of whom still face the prospect of trials or plea agreements.

A new wave of cases, many of which involve higher-level charges of assaults against police, continues to expand a prosecution that is already the largest in American history.

Twenty-six months into the criminal investigation, the newest cases continue to reveal new details and evidence about alleged criminal activity amid the riotous mob.
Slightly more than half of the men and women charged with federal crimes in the Jan. 6 attack have entered guilty pleas in their cases. But even as cases close, new defendants and charges continue to surface, which could stretch the overall prosecution well into 2024, if not beyond.
In its latest update, the Justice Department said the FBI is seeking to identify at least 260 more people wanted in the attack.

The Justice Department has secured a nearly unblemished record in Capitol riot trials over the first two years of prosecutions. Only one defendant, a New Mexico man who requested a bench trial with no jury and a verdict rendered by a judge was fully acquitted.

Yet we still have Desantis apologists that think he can beat the Leftist voting machine in 2024.

Blows my mind. Trump didn't lose because he is unlikable or because he was a bad candidate. He (and Desantis or any R) will lose in 2024 if they espouse a true conservative agenda challenging the ones really running our country against the will of the people.

People are coerced to plead all the time. Particularly when their civil rights are denied. That's why our constitution is supposed to guarantee it doesn't happen.
So is this the standard we can use for anyone who pleads guilty? Or just the ones we want to really believe are innocent? I'm just trying to gauge a consistent standard.

That's all you've got? Seriously? Tell the board, again, how you're really conservative.

Well, I guess if bad arguments are cool...and I'm proposing something more substantive...then yes, that's all I got. I guess to be considered a conservative here, you just have to agree with the circle jerk about everything. Noted.

Had Bin Laden known how easy it was to get int there, in 2001 we might have had a very different 9/11 terrorist event. After 15 years and trillions spent on the WOT, there was not a "We need help immediately" button and protocol? As kookie as Coach Popovich is, he did say "You don't get into secure places without a wink and a nod." As you accurately noted, that seems to be the case.

My brother-in-law is a pretty prominent criminal defense attorney…

Per his description of this case, Chansley had no shot of winning this case in DC… The Govt and the media stacked the case against him…

It was trial by media, and he was the scapegoat du jour…

According to my BIL, he did the smart thing by pleading guilty…

Because of this video, we see he was no terrorist, just a wacky guy who the Govt pounced on to embarrass 45…

Chansley has a pretty good chance of release, and a pardon via the next Republican POTUS….

Wouldn't want to have to endure what he went through, but after all is said and done, he'll probably be OK financially…

Heck, I'll contribute to his GoFundMe…
If Chansley is set free it would be the ultimate dagger to the Dem narrative. This guy was the face of Jan 6. Even people who never watched a minute of coverage on Jan 6 know who this guy is. I see the Dems fighting to the death to prevent that. I hope they lose and suffer a significant blow to their narratives.
