I really just want an apology from democrat politicians. Sorry we imprisoned you with slow trials and false imprisonment. Same goes for wuhan.

Why just democrats? GOP was fine with the false narrative and those that might have not been never had the backbone to speak up about it.

Anyone know of harsh comments made by DeSantis on this whole event ? I have not seen them.

Crenshaw helped the false narrative of the Capitol police officer that was not killed by protesters! Anyone heard him denounce this false narrative!

Ted Cruz at least walked back his domestic terrorists comments but even he was too willing to go along with the false narrative!

McConnell and McCarthy were perfectly fine with the false narrative!

Nikki Haley and Trey Gowdy spent an entire radio show trashing Trump for what he caused on Jan 6! Nothing negative on the democrats!

I expect the democrats to be the lying leftists they have become ! What's apparent now is how much the GOP are in it with them! Worse are the alphabets!

Baffling how there are STILL people who try to spin this… I don't mind if you have innocent liberal leanings in your political identity, BUT it takes some serious cognitive dissonance and gaslighting attempts to rationalize this true threat to democracy we are seeing. Reminds me of Bama trying to rationalize Miller playing. Of course, that outrage pales in comparison to the current state of corruption in the US government

To answer your question about DeSantis:
Quote:

Calling Jan. 6 equivalent to "Christmas" for "D.C.-New York media," Gov. Ron DeSantis said on the one-year anniversary of the attack on the U.S. Capitol that the day has been used by national media outlets to "smear anyone who ever supported Donald Trump."

He also suggested that the riot which interrupted the certification of President Joe Biden's victory, caused millions in damage and left multiple people dead was overblown, and disputed its characterization as an insurrection.

"When they try to act like this is something akin to the Sept. 11th attacks, that is an insult to the people who were going into those buildings," DeSantis said Thursday at a news conference in West Palm Beach. "And it's an insult to people when you say it's an 'insurrection' and then a year later, nobody has been charged with that."
https://www.tampabay.com/news/florida-politics/2022/01/06/on-jan-6-anniversary-desantis-disputes-that-capitol-attack-was-an-insurrection/

Is that good enough? Just a tiny bit of research would show there are prominent Republicans pushing back hard on the Jan 6th narrative.

Holding political prisoners who were unarmed and killed zero people for daring to be mad about an election that in fact really was stolen.

Making up false claims to attack and attempt to imprison the most popular political opponent and most likely next R nominee.

Federal gov labeling moms at school board meetings as "domestic terrorists" for speaking up about mask mandates, racist CRT indoctrination, or lgbt youth grooming in schools.

Federal gov sending a strong message that threatening Supreme Court justices at their houses for the crime of being originalist constitutional scholars is A-OK.

Federal gov sending a strong message that fire bombing pregnancy assistance centers is NBD but praying in front of baby murdering clinics is a serious crime.

Constantly attacking the ownership of rifles in an attempt to disarm political opponents, despite most gun deaths, by far, that make USA one of the deadliest countries on earth, are from gangbangers' gats.

Hiring 87,000 irs agents to extract more already taxed dollars from the people who still actually work and produce.

There is a Marxist regime actively attacking anti-communists. The evil people whose crimes are having jobs, paying taxes, having families, going to church, and wanting a smaller fed and lower taxes. A smaller fed that does what's best for Americans instead of globalist interests and elitists' special interests? How fascist of them!

Look at the end of the day the way it appears to a lot of average citizens that there is at least a two tier justice system in this society. This is one of the most common symptoms of an unhealthy society. I certainly believe that I wouldn't have the same access to justice/fair trial/due process/etc. in DC or the SDNY. I'd be an absolute fool to think that. In any city with a so called Soros DA I'd be crazy to think that as well.

I've seen, quite literally first hand, here in Dallas County when that happens. Sheriffs and court officers won't intervene in misdemeanors or felonies because it won't get prosocuted but will threaten their job. It's not a societal breakdown of law. But it isn't a healthy way for society to function either.

After reading that it's worse actually than I thought. So Florida is the state with the MOST people (76 persons) caught up with this false narrative! He's the states governor and these are citizens in his state! What state resources has he used to fight the federal government on this hoax that he has condemned?

People are coerced to plead all the time. Particularly when their civil rights are denied. That's why our constitution is supposed to guarantee it doesn't happen.
So is this the standard we can use for anyone who pleads guilty? Or just the ones we want to really believe are innocent? I'm just trying to gauge a consistent standard.

What legal recourse does the state have? They are not a party to this issue. Any attorney want to speak to what a state could actually do in these particular cases?

Are you just looking to pin something on DeSantis that is 100% not his fault and that he has repeatedly criticized?

You can tell the release of the video hits close to home by how ardently they are attacking it and defending the established narrative. My brother-in-law is a pretty prominent criminal defense attorney…

Per his description of this case, Chansley had no shot of winning this case in DC… The Govt and the media stacked the case against him…

It was trial by media, and he was the scapegoat du jour…

According to my BIL, he did the smart thing by pleading guilty…

Because of this video, we see he was no terrorist, just a wacky guy who the Govt pounced on to embarrass 45…

Chansley has a pretty good chance of release, and a pardon via the next Republican POTUS….

Wouldn't want to have to endure what he went through, but after all is said and done, he'll probably be OK financially…

Heck, I'll contribute to his GoFundMe…

There's video of him chumming it up with police inside. There's video of him telling fellow protestors to be respectful and that they have a right to peacefully assemble. Now there's video of him being escorted around by police, opening doors for him. He clearly wasn't armed and didn't lay hands on anyone.

But his coerced guilty plea resulted in a four year prison sentence and Marxists pretend he's the leader of a fake deadly insurrection. America-hating communists are defending their brave and honest benevolent overlords in the government, but it's hard for anyone who sees what's happening with criminals for (d)ifferent crimes- not being pursued or prosecuted for violence, reduced sentences for violence, immediate release for violence, etc. supposedly in the name of equity in the prison population, and this will just never be right.

Not believing that Sydney Powell had a Kraken to release re: dominion does not mean dnc and feds didn't collude with fb, google, and Twitter to commit the biggest election interference in our history (because they did). It also doesn't mean a staple of democracy- a government in which the people choose who governs and represents them- and sign of the "most secure election ever" is mailing millions and millions of ballots, unsolicited, to insecure and hacked voter reg rolls and NGOs using databases of registered voters who don't vote and donor funds to get people to go collect the ballots and drop them in insecure boxes and be scanned by machines without signature verification configured properly or adjudicate millions of them to achieve desired outcomes.

So is Troy Neils (blue shirt) a traitor?
Tony Gonzales too?

Quote:

"It was really a fight or flight moment," recalled Gonzales, a former Navy officer who helped support combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. "On day three of being elected, it is not how you plan things, but it is also kind of who you are. It's either you either run to the fire, or you run away from it. I've always ran to the fire." Quote:

Nehls (R-Texas), a former sheriff and military officer with five decades of military and law enforcement experience, ran over to Mullin, asking if he needed help.

"We have a choice. I'm with you, brother," replied Mullin.

Mullin then broke two wooden upright hand sanitizer stations and handed a block of the wood to Nehls, giving both of them makeshift weapons.
--------------------------------
Nehls looked through a cracked door window where rioters were attempting to break in and saw a man carrying a flag on a long wooden pole that was sharpened on the end, which he believes penetrated the window and caused the sound.

"It took an enormous amount of force to shatter that glass. You can see some remnants on top of the furniture the little white sprinkling of dust from where the glass came in," Nehls said.
--------------------------------
Nehls then stepped in to attempt to deescalate the tense situation.

"I told the individuals on the other side of the door that they shouldn't be doing this. 'This is not the way we should be handling business. This is un-American, unnecessary and dangerous.' And there's no reason they should be doing this," Nehls recalled. "I said, 'You should be embarrassed of yourselves.'"

One of the rioters remarked that Nehls was wearing a Texas face mask and yelled at him: "You should be with us! You should be with us!"

To which Nehls replied: "No, sir, I cannot support what you're doing right now."

This just confirms what most of us on F16 already knew.

January 6th was concocted by the Democrats to ensure that Trump would have an extremely difficult time ever running for office again, possibly another impeachment, and also trap as many MAGA people in their snare as possible.

It is the only explanation of the events.

1) Democrats refused to put additional security at the capitol that day

2) Democrats planted FBI agents and Antifa people inter-dispersed with the MAGA crowd to attempt to incite a riot

3) Video shows the Capitol police take orders to open the doors and escort people into the capitol in a very orderly way

4) This new video shows the Shaman was never a threat and was lead by capitol police

5) Multiple reports have shown that the injuries to capitol police were either a heart attack or very minor scuffles with who knows who those people were.

6) The people who have been charged have not had basic rights such as a speedy trial, held without charges, or any other basis rights we have as citizens. These are political prisoners.

7) Democrats continue to blow the whole thing outta proportion of how it was the worse attack on the US since 9/11 to make sure it stays fresh on everyone's mind and pushes a narrative.

-there is plenty of video of people actually breaking windows and doors to gain access to the capital (that's how Chansley initially entered the building. Through a busted door).

-provide some evidence of Democrats planting people to incite riots. Not just some pipe dream because you don't want to admit the pro trump crowd was violent.

-Daniel Rodriguez admitted to tazing officer Fanone while he was being beaten by the mob and plead guilty.

Jacob Chansley left a note for pence stating, "it's only a matter of time. Justin is coming". He also plead guilty to his charges.

-People aren't being held without charges or having basic rights denied. Many of 700 plus charged are out on bond right now. People are apparently finding out that it sucks to be in prison.

Are you unable to acknowledge what your own eyes just saw in the video. This "insurrectionist" was escorted through the capitol in a very orderly and coordinated way. Political forces were in control here the whole time. That puts everything into question, the prosecutions the confessions, everything.

This is tyrannical

He literally pled guilty to obstructing and official proceeding and took full responsibility for his actions. He admitted to unlawfully entering the premise and refusing to leave after being told to do so by police.

Here's an actual quote from him
