Tucker reminded of those lying *******s associating 1/6 with Pearl Harbor and 9/11 and saying it was the worst attack on the Capitol since the war of 1812.

We're supposed to forget when Obama's buddies from Weather Underground actually bombed the Capitol building with the intention of killing as many republican senators as they could

This just confirms what most of us on F16 already knew.

January 6th was concocted by the Democrats to ensure that Trump would have an extremely difficult time ever running for office again, possibly another impeachment, and also trap as many MAGA people in their snare as possible.

It is the only explanation of the events.

1) Democrats refused to put additional security at the capitol that day

2) Democrats planted FBI agents and Antifa people inter-dispersed with the MAGA crowd to attempt to incite a riot

3) Video shows the Capitol police take orders to open the doors and escort people into the capitol in a very orderly way

4) This new video shows the Shaman was never a threat and was lead by capitol police

5) Multiple reports have shown that the injuries to capitol police were either a heart attack or very minor scuffles with who knows who those people were.

6) The people who have been charged have not had basic rights such as a speedy trial, held without charges, or any other basis rights we have as citizens. These are political prisoners.

7) Democrats continue to blow the whole thing outta proportion of how it was the worse attack on the US since 9/11 to make sure it stays fresh on everyone's mind and pushes a narrative.

-there is plenty of video of people actually breaking windows and doors to gain access to the capital (that's how Chansley initially entered the building. Through a busted door).

-provide some evidence of Democrats planting people to incite riots. Not just some pipe dream because you don't want to admit the pro trump crowd was violent.

-Daniel Rodriguez admitted to tazing officer Fanone while he was being beaten by the mob and plead guilty.

Jacob Chansley left a note for pence stating, "it's only a matter of time. Justin is coming". He also plead guilty to his charges.

-People aren't being held without charges or having basic rights denied. Many of 700 plus charged are out on bond right now. People are apparently finding out that it sucks to be in prison.

Are you unable to acknowledge what your own eyes just saw in the video. This "insurrectionist" was escorted through the capitol in a very orderly and coordinated way. Political forces were in control here the whole time. That puts everything into question, the prosecutions the confessions, everything.

Let's have a name then. Who is being held without any charges? It should be pretty easy to prove right?

Here is a biased source for you to complain about:

Quote:

Oct. 6, 2022, 12:47 PM CDT
By Rebecca Shabad and Ryan J. Reilly
WASHINGTON Nearly three dozen people charged with crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol who are being held at Washington, D.C.'s jail have asked to be transferred to the U.S. detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, if conditions don't improve at their facility.

Quote:

On seven pages of yellow legal pad paper recently submitted in federal court, the 34 defendants described the jail in the nation's capital as having "medieval standards of living" and "hellacious conditions" that it "insists on tormenting its traumatized guests with." They demanded that their problems be addressed, saying they no longer want to be "trapped within the wretched confines of cruel and unusual punishment."

The group listed numerous concerns and complaints about their experiences across more than two pages. They said, for example, that they "continue to endure" things like "begging for help/water/medical aid." They claimed they are not allowed visitations, access to religious services or access to their attorneys. They reported that their laundry has been returned with "brown stains, pubic hair and or reeking of ripe urine.

Quote:

The Jan. 6 detainees also wrote in their complaint that they have been presented with critical race theory "propaganda" on tablets, along with "re-education propaganda" and "racially-biased information." They claimed they have been physically harassed, Maced and assaulted by guards.

"We hereby request to spend our precious and limited days, should the government continue to insist on holding us captive unconstitutionally as pre-trial detainees to be transferred and reside at Guantanamo Bay," said their letter, which added that the Cuba facility, which houses detainees charged with terrorist acts, provides "nutritional meals, routine sunlight exposure, top notch medical care, is respectful of religious requirements, has centers for exercise/entertainment."

Take it up with NBC news, they wrote the story..

Another one from May 28,2021 ...

Quote:

Some of the federal judges hearing the Capitol cases have expressed concern that certain defendants may have already spent more time in custody than they are likely to face as a punishment for their crimes.

"For those who end up only charged with misdemeanors, it's likely that they won't serve any substantial time, or potentially no time at all," said Mary McCord, an expert on extremism who served for nearly 20 years as a prosecutor in the US attorney's office in Washington DC. "It's quite possible if they were to plead guilty, they would be sentenced to whatever time was served, or 30 days."

Eric Munchel, right, and his mother, Lisa Marie Eisenhart. Photograph: AP

There is a tension between the dramatic collective effect of the 6 January mob, which halted the official certification of Biden's election as president and threatened the legitimacy of American democracy, legal experts said, and what federal prosecutors can prove that individual people did.

"The irony is that we have so many laws so many things are illegal it's somewhat surprising that they're not able to find charges that are more serious," Zunkel said.

Some more serious potential charges, like conspiracy or seditious conspiracy, would require evidence of prior agreement to commit a crime that appears to be lacking for many participants in the chaotic Capitol mob, said Daniel Richman, a Columbia University law professor and former federal prosecutor.
"When you look at each individual, what they did might amount to destruction of property or illegal entry, and that's in all likelihood what they'll be charged with, but the larger dimension of their participation in a massive attack falls by the wayside," Richman said.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/may/28/us-capitol-attack-suspects-jail-trial
From the first line in the article you linked

Quote:

WASHINGTON Nearly three dozen people charged with crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol who are being held at Washington, D.C.'s jail have asked to be transferred to the U.S. detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, if conditions don't improve at their facility.

It sure as hell seems like they have been charged with crimes.

I am sure they are experiencing some awful things because as a general rule of thumb, America prisons are terrible. I don't believe they are having an experience that is too much different than your average prisoner in America thought. In the case of Jacob Chansley (horns guy), he is being given organic food while he serves out his 41 month sentence. That's definitely better than most people get. Liberals have be calling for improved conditions for decades and the DC jail in particular is bad. So the complaints while likely valid, aren't all that surprising. Of note, the worse conditions in the DC Jail aren't where the Jan 6 prisoners are being held.

As for your second article
in an effort to prevent that case from occurring, most of those charged have received pretrial release. In fact on average, they are twice as likely to receive pretrial release. That probably because most of them have no prior convictions for assault and the offenses are on average fairly low level.

For Clarification, this is what I said...

6) The people who have been charged have not had basic rights such as a speedy trial, held without charges, or any other basis rights we have as citizens. These are political prisoners.

It was an example of things that have happened, I never said all three continue to happen.
It is a fact that ALL 3 did happen though.

You cherry picked out the part you want to argue 'held without charges'.

I never said they were still being held without charges. I said that they were held without charges. They were arrested, held without charges till they figured out what they could charge them with. This is not up for debate. It happened.

Well you claimed that people were being held without being charged. That is 100% false.

You also said people were receiving poor treatment in prison. I absolutely agree with you

U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth agrees that he committed no violence. He pled guilty to a single charge of obstructing an official proceeding. (Lamberth is a Reagan appointee). Prosecutors had asked for the top end of the guidelines for the charge (51 months) and Lambert went with the low end guideline of 41

26 months later, investigations continue into Jan. 6 Capitol Riot

WASHINGTON D.C. (WSET) Monday marks 26 months since the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The U.S. government continues to investigate losses that resulted from the breach on the Capitol, including damage to the Capitol building and grounds, both inside and outside the building.

Under the leadership of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia and the FBI's Washington Field Office, the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for the attack continue to move forward.

"The Department of Justice's resolve to hold accountable those who committed crimes on January 6, 2021, has not, and will not, wane."

Like I said previously, I never said they were STILL being held without charges, I said they were Held without being Charged. They are past tense verbs, and illegal. You cannot be HELD WITHOUT BEING CHARGED for more than a short period. Lawyers would have to confirm, but on TV I think it is 24 hours.

We discussed this on the Triggered Podcast this week, but this can't be legal. This sounds like something out of North Korea, Hussein's Iraq, or Castro's Cuba. We have a person detained for nearly 90 days without an indictment. Why? Well, this person was around the Capitol Building during the January 6 riot. Leslie McAdoo Gordon of Redstate, who served as a special agent for the Department of Defense Investigative Service and is now an attorney, detailed this sordid tale of prosecutorial misconduct. Being an attorney who has gone through the motions involving cases at the federal level, Gordon details how the government botched this arrest and detention from the beginning starting with the fact that there was no preliminary hearing. It's a lengthy post but a step-by-step recount of how this man has been detained illegally without trial or charge:

You don't see this very often in federal court, but one of the January 6 (J6) Defendants, Lucas Denney, is being held illegally. He was arrested in Texas on December 13, 2021, and brought before a federal magistrate, who ordered him detained without bond on a criminal Complaint. It then took six weeks to transfer him to DC, where he is currently being held. He has not appeared before a federal judge in DC since his arrival, although that will change Monday afternoon as a result of his lawyer seeking his release.
Denney's case involves two distinct, major screwups. The first is that he was not afforded a Preliminary Hearing, to which he is entitled under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure and the Constitution. The second is that he has not been indicted by a grand jury within 30 days of his arrest, as required by the federal Speedy Trial Act. Consequently, Denney's detention has been unlawful since at least late January 2022.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) alleges that Denney participated in the riot on January 6, 2021, in Washington D.C. at the United States Capitol. It charged Denney with five felonies: assaults, civil disorder, and obstructions of an official proceeding, and with seven trespassing misdemeanors. An arrest warrant was issued for him in December 2021 based on a criminal Complaint sworn out by a law enforcement officer, not on an indictment returned by a grand jury.

Good find. A single person was held without indictment for 85 days. Looks like the government admitted to breaking the law in his case.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.politico.com/amp/news/2022/03/14/feds-admit-breaking-law-with-delay-in-case-against-alleged-jan-6-rioter-00017003.

Funny how it ultimately ended up in his favor because he was able to plead guilty to a single charge instead of facing 5 or 6 felonies

My apologies of initially skipping over your post.

I saw Chansley walking through the capital hallways. Sometimes leading police other times police in front of him. Sometimes they check to see if a door is locked. In at least one case they opened the door. Any talk of police giving him a tour is purely speculation. None of these videos has any sound.

What we do know is that both the government and Chansley himself agree that he broke the law and intended to stop the counting of the electoral college votes, left a threatening note for pence, and remained in the capital after being told to leave numerous times by police. These are things he openly admitted to and has claimed regret for.

He pled guilty to felony obstructing an official proceeding. If you read the specific law, it's fairly clear this was a correct charge given all his statements about his intentions.

You also should know that the DoJ litigated that it didn't have to fight congress to release all brady material (exculpatory video) as it was a 'separation of powers' issues so the executive branch having it meant congress under Pelosi didn't have to give up her videos for the defendants use.

But wait, it gets worse! The DoJ also insisted any videos the defendants did get access to could only be released to the public if used in court. Can't have the public narrative broken, and as well they knew most would wind up pleading out.
