No. I have an apartment in uptown Dallas. I have about $80k in credit card debt and financed my Tesla at 96 months. Luckily I'm able to sink every dollar paying minimums between my two jobs in telemarketing. Is that the narrative you're fishing for?

Model S actually looks pretty nice, probably a big reason for its initial success. Model 3 looks goofy and out of proportion.

Old enough to remember my dad telling me he would buy the family a boat if/when Ivie filled up and it did like a year or so after the gates shut. I think he thought it never would so he said it tongue in cheek. But he was a man of his word and we got a boat.
