Russia isn't making anywhere near the progress to land lock Ukraine by May 9th. Even if they did, what leverage do they have to convince Ukraine to cease operations and allow them to keep it? None. They have none.

Keep pumping the weapons to Ukraine that it needs to fight its war. It's giving Russia all it can handle and more than it wants. With our logistical assistance they can wear out Russia unless Putin fully mobilizes. It'll be difficult for him to do that without declaring a larger war.

OK now, this is seriously impressive.

One Ukrainian Stugna-P team destroying 4 Russian tanks or armor in under 4 minutes.

Each time the camera shakes, the Stugna-P launcher is being reloaded.

We're those vehicles empty? They made no attempt to move after the impact on the first vehicle.

Russia's sudden concern for Europe and the US is touching… but more likely threatening. I hear: "Russia may provide captured munitions to terrorists if you don't let us take Ukraine".

Sounds like some of the posters here.

I'm pretty sure they aren't subject to Ukraine military. There was a video done a few years ago by a US filmmaker in which the leaders of the Azov said as much. Here it is:

Azov has slowly been integrated into the Ukrainian National Guard structure (particularly within the past few years) in order to ensure greater oversight, cooperation, discipline, and accountability. Beginning in 2018/2019 many of the more extremist elements began to be purged. It's still far right nationalist but also far from being a rogue element or terrorist org.

I think about this. Too many whiskeys in to say what I'm thinking, but the idea of combat is certainly addicting.

The vehicles being attacked are several kilometres downrange. Time the missile flight. Those things are moving real fast. The field of view is deceptive and the vehicles are further apart than you think they are, which makes you think they should know more about each other's situation than they really do.

Do you have a video or link from the organization stating this themselves? My video was pretty clear they had no desire to do that. I posted information that was verified. Can you do the same?

Russia's plan is too have Ukraine land locked by May 9th, at that time, they will negotiate for a truce with the understanding they will not give up any of the captured lands.

The west is pulling for Ukraine, but they need more boots on the ground to beat back the Russians. Wish Poland and other local countries would jump feet first into the fray. We are the major supplier of weapons by far, pony up with some skin Europe! The fight is now, we have your back.

Nah, the Ukrainians can provide personnel by the loads, it's a country of 40+ million, right? They need money and material.

Theres a ton of info out there. I put in the legwork to review the available info and come to my conclusion. You're capable of doing the same. Someone beat me to posting a recent video. Yours is from 3 years ago.

My statement doesn't contradict your old Vice vid. It supplements it with pertinent information that fills in the temporal gap. In the future, if you're going to use old information to form an opinion, take the time to do additional research in order to ensure that other events haven't transpired in the interim before you snap back to criticize information which you've failed to integrate.

It's hilarious Russia is threatening NATO when they are getting their asses kicked.

I don't think they are threatening with conventional weapons sir.

The overarching threat has and will be that they break out the nukes if we overstep.

Where they draw the line is anyone's guess
Rossticus
How long do you want to ignore this user?
That threat is the only weapon they have. Once they launch the first one they lose that card to play and they have to start trying to cash checks that their asses quite possibly can't back up.

It's highly unlikely that a bunch of generals want to kiss their asses goodby in a hail of nuclear hellfire just to satisfy the ego of a dying dictator.

When was the Aziv battalion formed? After Russia entered the Donbass in 2014.

This is no defense of the ideology they've put forward, but Russia helped create that "problem" by giving a group of guys on the fringe the conditions to gain traction and find some commonality with other Ukrainians…an existential threat to their common homeland.

And by the way, Russia has now given the group more international notoriety than it ever could have hoped. And managed to put them in a sympathetic position.

The Azov battalion is less blatant and is indirect, but is another example of Russia creating a problem so to later have an excuse.

Probably Romania or one of the other old Soviet Bloc countries. My guess is there is a hefty markup on those old munitions.
Wouldn't surprise me if half of that is unusable...its old Russian junk after all. Nevertheless, it's a good step. Give the Ukes what they are already familiar with.

I suspect that the Russians will increase nuclear threats because that is their final card. I wouldn't be surprised if they use low yield tactical nucs to advance their stalled offensive. The offensive isn't anything like they have planned and they always considered tactical nuclear weapons as part of their field artillery kit. They are concerned that the use of them will bring NATO into fight, a fight they can't win within expanding the nuclear threshold.
We got out of the tactical nuc business to meet treaty obligations and because our precision weapons can be as effective without the political implications of going nuclear. It puts us and NATO in a real conundrum.
At some point we (and NATO) have to decide how and when to stop the Russian expansionary threat. I think Ukraine is worth fighting for and block the Russians expansion.
It's a game of chicken really, with what I consider a weak US President and a Russian President that could possibly suffer from mental illness.

Which is why I think the best course is to remain steadily on the one we're currently on until given reason to consider deviating. Do what we can to ensure that Ukraine can maintain military parity with Russia. Right now they've proven to be strategically and tactically superior to Russia, with our Intel and logistics support continuing to allow them to keep pace. We're doing everything we can to level the playing field without formal engaging.

The direction things take from here will be dictated by Russia. If their eyes really are bigger than their stomach then they'll eventually step into a giant pile of FAAFO, with most of the developed world, sans China, crashing down on them and us at the tip of the spear. Any country who demonstrates a willingness to use nuclear weapons toward expansionist ends will have to be dealt with because failure to do so will embolden not only the country in question but also encourage some very unsavory regimes to follow suit.

Maybe he means 25k redeployed from what was left in the NW? In addition to those already deployed there? Based on assumed total losses from the initial invasion force of around 200k they should have just about that many available.
