Kind of brilliant, really. Nobody's going to bomb that... I suspect they've done similar at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. Haven't heard much about that plant in a while, though.

I have seen soldiers in multiple videos running the evacuation operations of civilians with buses. Not saying it is this time but…..

It's in the front window. The guy posted a zoomed in pic in the thread after I posted the original tweet. And now I can't find it. :/

I really hope that everyone has started messing with that guy during UN meetings. Snide remarks that compare this Russian regime to the 2nd coming of Hitler and his kind etc etc. While he's presenting, people interrupting with like coughs like *cough*cough* Hitler *cough*cough*. Then again, I'd be pretty petty about all this.

Very well could be. I've been trying to find the original source and it appears it comes from the Russian Ministry of Defense from a recent press conference, accusing the Ukrainians of using the synagogue itself as a base of operations. So it's just as likely they've carefully selected photos that don't show the evacuees actually using the busses. They also claim that truck is carrying disguised weapons and ammo, but it looks to me like a bunch of sleeping bags and mats.

Link to Russian news article with their accusations (the original photos aren't included):

One, it's pretty easy to photoshop a supposed sign in the bus window.

Two, it appears the mosque in the background has nothing to do with this. They're not using it and are using facilities across the street form it. Which leads me to believe if you have to say something to that effect, they're reaching.

Three, All those photos and not a single one showing actual bus full of troops. Of course they are going to have troops driving and providing security for them as the Russians have attacked evacuation convoys.

I'm sorry, but anyone so far upset by this is very nave (at best) or a Russian sympathizer.

Good morning everyone. I'm seeing a lot of bridge destruction by Russia as they try to keep any gains they can. What's Ukraine's way around that so that they can continue to fight and counterattack?

ETA: I'm no expert, but I don't see how they easily get past the issue of key blown bridges along the Dneiper. They don't have the airborne or naval capabilities to bypass, at least that I've seen. Are there effective innovations in river crossings that could make all that much of a difference?

You also know it's fake because the Russians were using the "Children " signs as aiming points earlier in the war. They are creating this propo to "explain" killing kids and trying to accuse the Ukes of doing what the do, or plan to do.

Except in this case, it totally makes sense that there are their equivalent of national guard soldiers helping load and guard buses full of kids being evacuated, while believing what is suggested requires assuming the Ukrainians are deliberately setting up their own kids to be targeted for attacks.

You honestly didn't read the part where I said "if this is real" and then spent another post further doubting its veracity?

Come on man.

The guy tweeting has posted some decent stuff, and is not obviously pro-Russian, though in this case I got burned and will probably stop following him. Chill out.

WhatsApp messages and audio recordings show a concerted effort by telecom specialists to dissuade the invaders with horror stories of what they'll face
Quote:

About 10 days ago a Russian officer by the name of Lieutenant Bondarev saw a message come through on WhatsApp. "Hello ********," it read. "Greetings from every Ukrainian you have offended! Be aware that you will never ever have a calm life! Karma will reach you."

Bondarev seemed less fazed than one might have expected considering his interlocutor didn't identify himself or say how he got the lieutenant's phone number. "Greetings," Bondarev replied. "I don't give a damn what you and your buddies write to me. Karma will reach you faster, so u better take care of yourself."

"Let's hope that your people … at least take your remains," the mystery messenger pinged back. "Because thousands of your comrades are rotting on Ukrainian soil."
Quote:

Ukrainian telecom specialists, New Lines has learned, have been using hacked telephone databases to track down the personal communications of Russian soldiers not just already deployed inside Ukraine but also those still garrisoned at the border. Many of these exchanges, particularly the recorded ones, have been uploaded to YouTube channels and other platforms, mostly untranslated.

Tellingly, Ukrainians have targeted not only Russians but also Belarusian troops, who have yet to receive an order to deploy by Alexander Lukashenko's dictatorship, which Western intelligence sources say is constantly stalling on pressure from Moscow.

An example of a Belarus-aimed psyop:
Ukrainian messenger (UM): "I am calling Sergey Marchuk. Are you Sergey?"
Belarus soldier (BS): "Yes."
UM: "Listen, we have information that you are located on the border and preparing to enter and fight. Is it so?"
BS: "It is possible."
UM: "Are you there now? You are military? Or did I dial the wrong number?"
BS: "Yes."
UM: "You are military, yeah? Ok, I understand. You are planning to invade Ukraine. Keep in mind that all of you will be killed there. Do you know how many Russians have already died here?"
BS: "I understand you."
UM: "Look, I'm calling to tell you not to come here [invade], not to make a mistake, because here you will for sure … "
BS: "How could you reach me? How did you get the information?"
UM: "Look, we know each of you. We have a database of your soldiers. We have telephone numbers, names, surnames, dates of birth we know everything about you, you get it? We don't want Belarus to fight with Ukraine. If you go forward, you will all die here. We are waiting for you. Is it clear? Personally, I have tons of friends, relatives in Belarus, and I don't want us to fight with Belarusians. Therefore make the right decision, don't go to Ukraine because you will die!"

Nothing new and a couple days old, but still a different take from the battlefield. I would say Ukraine morale still good.

I follow this thread pretty often and do not remember seeing this guy posted> If it has then sorry.

"The worst thing for Russia is knowing that we are nood afraid of them."
"They were brought up with the belief that the whole of Europe and Nato are afraid of the russian army, which actully suxs on the battlefield."
" some people are going to pay bribes in order to join territorial defense."
