That's a good account. Not the best, not bad though. And Reuters and others have reported on a possible attempt at blocking Russia from strategic, it something Zelensky brought up and some administration reps acted coy about when asked.

Yes, agreed it won't happen and would possibly lead to some heated standoffs.

Now you're catching on to his ACTUAL motives and goals. If HE can't subjugate Ukraine and it's people, keeping them under his thumb as pawns, then he'll destroy them.

He wanted to do it politically but they started pushing back in favor of substantive independence and self determination. Now he's trying to accomplish this goal militarily. They're still not acquiescing. So, since he can't control them…

Good video of a guy describing how the sanctions are working inside Russia. Talks about things like trying to get his car oil changed, software issues, electonics issues, and everyday goods. Almost in tears toward the end when trying to be careful what he says, but apologizing to Ukraine. The video is long, and cuts out a lot, but I think worth a watch to hear from someone on the ground and the world of hurt Putin is in for.

This is either fake news to draw out the Russians somehow (prime ministers of NATO countries shouldn't be traveling into the epicenter of a Russian military campaign). Or has already been completed since nobody in their right mind would announce this in advance.
