Russia not only hit Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other cities today, they double tapped to kill firefighters again.

**** Russia!

Quote:

In Kharkiv, 5 rescuers of the State Emergency Service died while extinguishing a fire as a result of a repeated Russian strike. At least 5 more were injured.

My condolences to the families of the fallen unarmed heroes. Unfortunately, we continue to lose those who save lives.

The massive Russian attack continues. Kyiv is under the main blow. There is significant destruction of civilian infrastructure. The necessary services are involved in the elimination of the consequences.

Stay in safe places until the air raid warning is lifted.

Looking like cultural sites were deliberately targeted.

Hitting those sites is cruel and evil, their mad leader has lost his mind. Is Putin trying to provoke a response that then allows him to up his own response? Things seem to be elevating quick now that Ukraine has all those longer range drones and missiles that are penetrating Russian supply lines.

Likely, yes. Utterly indefensible, imho. Both the cathedral and double tap strikes on firefighters.

At least 22 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and several Zircon cruise missiles attacked the city, and several groups of Kh-101 cruise missiles. Also a bunch of crap lobbed at Kharkiv City (without military value).

What response is he trying to ramp up to? Chemical warfare? Nukes? Maybe he's just being an ******* because he's getting his butt kicked by a former satellite state that was supposed to be conquered in 3 days

We've seen this repugnant behavior a lot lately. Hamas, Hezbolla, IRGC, et al. It's what desperate totalitarian regimes do when they've run out of tricks. Russia's war culminated months ago. It's like a 2026 remake of 'The Sixth Sense' - they're all dead but don't know it yet.

And then immediately come out making demands of us. So, last night was a tantrum over not getting the sweetheart deal the thought they were guaranteed.

I would love to see the Ukrainians put a few Flamingos into St Basil's in return for the hits on the cathedrals by the orcs.

422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion "LUFTWAFFE" have now demonstrated the destruction of a second Russian "Volna Kupol Garant" electronic warfare system designed to disrupt Starlink communications.

According to Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, adviser to Ukraine's Minister of Defense on defense technology, the system works by transmitting powerful interference towards individual Starlink satellites, preventing them from receiving signals from user terminals on the ground.

Its main limitation is that each complex can effectively suppress only a single satellite at a time, providing coverage of roughly 20 square kilometers. To achieve this, the "Volna Kupol Garant" employs multiple large satellite antennas mounted on trailers and consumes significant amounts of electrical power.

Developed by the Simferopol-based company "Russian Dome", the system was reportedly sold to the Russian military for approximately $1.5 million per unit.

The first destruction of such a system was showcased earlier today by SBU's Alpha Group and the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion. (Shown in the second part of the video)

Seems like it would be pretty easy for the Starlink folks to pinpoint where the jamming is coming from and send the coordinates to the Ukrainians.

Police in Poland are investigating the execution-style murder of a Russian artist and vocal critic of President Vladimir Putin.

Polish prosecutors said Robert K, known as the artist Semyon Skrepetsky, was shot dead on Monday morning in the Polish city of Biaa Podlaska, about 40km (25 miles) from the Belarusian border.

The 44-year-old was shot five times in the head, chest and back in a car park in the city, located about 600m from the Belarusian consulate.

Moreover, he perfectly understands that from Belarus, and especially from me personally, no military actions should be expected."

The Belarusian dictator also named the reasons why he does not want a war with Ukraine:

"Belarus (we understand this, which is why we do not want to fight) is very vulnerable militarily if Ukraine starts attacking Belarus the same way it attacks Russia. Because Belarus is like an open book to Ukrainian military forces. We fully understand that our main life-supporting facilities industrial and logistical will come under attack. As they stated, they already have 500 such targets planned on Belarusian territory.

The front for Russia, and therefore for us as well, if it were to attack Kyiv from Belarusian territory, would expand by 1,500 kilometers along the BelarusUkraine border. With the current course of the war, we and the Russians will not be able to secure this area."

Lukashenko sees how effectively Ukrainian drones are "denazifying" Russia and wants to distance himself from that situation.

If you told me 4 years ago that Belarus would not be an active participant by now I would not have believed it. Yes they are hiding, sheltering, obfuscating but not launching from there. That has been a pleasant surprise.

They are wise to wait till the war is basically won before jumping in on the victors side. He's comments are the first sign he thinks Ukraine could win this war.

Interesting, considering all the soundbites blaming Ukraine's goals of European alignment for the war. Now we're back to NATO being the problem… even though there was no NATO offer, or even a roadmap, on the table. Pick justification and stick with it guys.

Russian forces are pressing Kostiantynivka from multiple directions, with infantry observed near the eastern outskirts through Novodmytrivka and from the Berestok and Illinivka areas. DeepState says Moscow is trying to reach the northern neck of the city to complicate supply to the central and southern parts, while heavy bombardment continues to turn the settlement into ruins. #Ukraine
