The enemy continues to exert active pressure on Kostiantynivka.

In the recent map update, it can be seen that the red zone to the south of Illinivka has increased, where the enemy is persistently trying to gain control of the area around Kostiantynivka. The zone of infiltration into the city is also increasing, which could result in the inevitable absorption of the settlement by the enemy. For the Russians, it was important to occupy Berestok in order to form a build-up of infantry for infiltration, and Illinivka will provide more opportunities for infiltration.

The enemy is pursuing the same strategy on the eastern side of the city, in the areas of Stupochky and Predtechyne. In particular, they are attempting to seize the village of Novodmytrivka to facilitate further infiltration operations. The capture of Illinivka and Novodmytrivka would threaten the northern part of Kostiantynivka, where the enemy aims to cut off access to other parts of the city.

The enemy is building an advantage on the Kostiantynivka sector, reinforcing it with constant guided bomb (KAB) strikes on the city. Soldiers we have spoken with emphasize the high level of activity by Russian drone operators and the relentless pressure from Russian infantry. The biggest problem, however, is that the units defending the area lack sufficient manpower to withstand this pressure.

At the same time, according to our information, the Commander-in-Chief raised the issue of reducing the provision of infantry to brigades according to the rule of "fair distribution", which sets this amount at only 50 people per month. In particular, the argument for such a reduction is the formation of new brigades alongside the already existing and understaffed ones. A soldier from one such brigade contacted us and noted that half of the personnel had left for the Territorial Defense Forces due to the inadequate attitude of the command, and the rest - including combat officers - are painting fences and mowing lawns. Meanwhile, assault regiments have 12-15 battalions at their disposal.

The battle for Kostiantynivka is still ongoing...

My attention to geography has lapsed the last few years. So I droped a pin on Kostiantynivka and notriced it's about 15 miles WSW of Bakhmut. Bakhmut fell May 20, 2023 after a nasty 9 month battle. So in this example, it's interesting to note the front line has moved 15 miles over the last 3 yrs. Brutal.

Unfortunately false. Search for "General Leonov Window" and you can see several prior false claims.

Not even sure that's a real living person pictured.

Is Ukraine now using its Mirages for ground strike missions?

"Until now, accounts and imagery have shown the delta-wing fighters being used for air-to-air missions, primarily in the fight against Russian long-range attack drones and cruise missiles. The latest footage may suggest that they now have started to embark on air-to-ground sorties, too."

MIRAGE

Here's how Ukraine is able to control its attack drones at huge ranges inside Russia.

You mean their goal isn't actually to "protect ethnic Russians in Donbas from Ukrainian brutality"? I'm shocked.

I admire the practicality of using a $5 piece of standard steel tubing for the casing. American manufacturers would spec a CNC machined piece of exotic metal and charge $10k for one.

Russian elites publicly dumping for forever war. Probably a decision between that and an untimely window attack.

Due to the logistical collapse, lorries are piling up in crowded parking areas, which are now being targeted. Video from Yenakiieve. [Putin], here's the latest updates."

4/ 'Military Informant' comments: "As we expected, parking lots for vehicles have become a convenient and tempting target for the enemy."

5/ "One truck was hit - several others burned down. And with the use of more powerful drones, it will be possible to destroy the entire unprotected parking lot entirely."

6/ Vladimir Romanov advises:

"For drivers of heavy-duty transport in new territories, in connection with systematic (constant, not like those of Peskov) enemy strikes on areas previously considered the deep rear - the following rules should be adhered to:"

7/ "- do not set up organized parking lots on the same sites;
- do not travel in columns (unless the column is accompanied by a military police), but with a maximum distance between vehicles.

8/ "//a new reality to which one should quickly adapt, rather than relying on the military police under the leadership of Gerasimov." /end

Fire suppression training doesn't appear to be a high priority for the orcs and most of us aren't surprised.

Ukraine's "small" air defense sub-systems knocked down 3,500 Russian drones in May.

"Syrskyi attributed the results directly to the systematic development of what Ukrainian commanders call "small air defense," the expanding network of drone interceptors, electronic warfare systems, and light weapons crews that operate below the altitude ceiling of conventional surface-to-air missile systems and fill the gaps those systems cannot cost-effectively cover."
