I think it was Ambrose who told the story of a captured Korean during WWII. He had been conscripted by the Japanese, then captured by the Russians, captured again by the Nazis, conscripted, then captured by the Allies. May have a few details wrong...Ag with kids said:New Ukrainian refugees.74OA said:

Update on Russian advances.
"Though Ukraine is losing ground in the east, especially around the key logistical hub of Pokrovsk, it would take several years before Russia could capture the entire Donetsk region based on the current pace of the conflict, a senior military official told The War Zone Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, Ukraine can hold its Kursk salient for at least the next few months despite increasing Russian pressure and the influx of North Korean special operations troops who are starting to take heavy casualties there, the official said."

video of NORK heavy self propelled artillery on trains is now on Twitter
claiming they are heading to Kursk.
170 mm. which sounds no bueno for Ukraine
Yeah they have a decent range and they're self propelled but even firing in bridgade strength is going to be difficult if they're reload time really is 5 minutes. As soon as that starts falling if there are any fire finder radar around you're going to get swarmed by drones PDQ. And to my knowledge the NORKs don't have any kind of specialized anti-HARM artillery ammunition. So in a heavy attack those are going to get 3 to 4 rounds off prior to getting swarmed. Dangerous tool but I don't know how much they'll change things on the ground.B-1 83 said:
