As I mentioned above, the fact that these protesters are not getting severe cases of COVID shows that the mandates are unnecessary.

It's all about power at this point.

Elected representatives who are on the side of mandates are now acting as tyrants trying to control the will of the people. Representative democracy is now dead where political leaders refuse to end mandates and reopen the society.

The truckers have emphasized peaceful protests. I commend them for their restraint.

However, if the government goes too far, the truckers have huge weapons at their immediate disposal. I hope that Trudeau realizes this fact.

It's like in old westerns were the town tries to extort money from a cattle drive and ends up facing the choice between letting the cowboys and cattle pass peacefully or having their town destroyed by an out of control stampede.

All they have to is all go on strike. Just park their trucks at home for a few weeks. No fuel, food, and supplies would do the trick.
