This is a pretty bad take. There's a big difference between getting caught up on established vaccines and being used as a political/military pawn to make more money for the drug company executives and politicians and bureaucrats.

I think we can all agree that Navy Seals and their counterparts in the other branches are about the least at risk individuals with COVID-19 in the country, if not world. There is no excuse to force them to take it outside of a "because we can" attitude that is dangerous.

There is not exception for military in the constitution, but claims of first amendment discrimination are viewed differently when made by someone in military than general public.

this is something Judge O'Connor recognizes and explains in his opinion.

"the type and degree of anticipated interference with the military function: and "the extent to which the exercise of military expertise or discretion is involved" are both key elements.

here, the navy has a 99% vax rate, and gives secular exceptions to the vaccine. allowing these religious exceptions will "not seriously impede the military in the performance of vital duties"

and it has nothing to do with military expertise. its purely a legal question.

This is such a BS take that I doubt seriously you are part of the 99% that cares about loyalty, mission or anything else.

You are not a SEAL and have no idea what is going on in the SEAL community. The best you know is what you have heard, and we all know that the rumors in the military are like little old people at the coffee shop.

The vaxxes ARE not approved, they are still Emergency Use. We still do not know long term impacts. We do know that the Vax injuries are higher than what is being admitted, and more and more info comes out all the time. These men are in peak shape and none of them are dying b/c of covid. So it is not unreasonable for them to question the need for the vax.

IT HAS NOTHING TO do with them being selfish and not committed to their oath or loyalty to their mission or to one another.
