You have been cheer-leading this vaccine from day one. Calling is free, safe, and effective / A modern miracle. People that don't get it are just afraid of needles. People that do get the shot won't end up in the hospital of get very sick. Anyone that brings up safety concerns or tells a first hand account of side effects from the vaccine are mocked by you or your wife. You are moving the damn goal posts again if you try to claim that you are just following orders.
You are wrong about the vaccine. It isn't all that great and it sure isn't the magic bullet that it was sold as in the beginning. At best, it helps with symptoms like a therapeutic. But, it sucks as a vaccine.
They just proved in court that it was not a "lawful order". Retaliating against service members who sued to avoid following an unlawful order is disgusting and should result in the court marshal of those taking part in it. Those officers gave an unconstitutional order the SEALs who chose to disobey it and challenge it in court won. That should be the end of it. If anything, the Navy should be washing out the guy giving the unlawful order. But that would be insurrection I guess...Salute The Marines said:LSB_2002 said:Good, burry these guys.....................what a loser you are! How so? 99.4% of the navy is now vaccinated. Our unit is 100%. A few crybaby problem children ran to court and even if the "win" their careers are done and they will be buried later.
I don't care if you're an E1 laundry clerk or a O6 SOCOM commander. The backbone of what we do is following lawful orders and carrying out the objectives of the officers appointed over us. Period. The end. If you can't do that then get the F out.

That's why a lot of us are ticked off about the mandates. What don't you understand about this? You get off on kicking these "bad apples" out of the military. It's wrong and your opinion on this matter is wrong. And, you should feel bad.Salute The Marines said:FriscoKid said:

is this poster seriously suggesting that being overturned on appeal on an entirely unrelated matter is somehow authoritative for all matters before a judge? Must've gone to Hollywood Upstairs College of Law, Home Locksmith Repair, or Earn Your GED.Salute The Marines said:

Maybe....but something changed.....this is the most extreme i have seen from STM that I can remember.
Historically STM was pro-vaccine / anti-mandate.
Now STM is fully on board with government forcing jabs into our service members with no scientific basis.
I have always defended the right of the military to vaccine military members, as we have done for both fully approved and experimental vaccines in the past.
However, this board has now shifted as well to supporting a millennial based "I do what I want" social engineering mindset with the military as well.
Because peer reviewed data and studies have shown that it works. That's all that matters to the DOD. They don't care about Joe Rogan's interview. Or the podcast you listened to. Or the video your friend sent you with the X number of doctors totes agree with.

No wonder our morale and esprit de corps is so high in the military. With goobers giving advice like that, no wonder all the good officers leave and we have higher up failures like Milly running the show.
I hope you are an overzealous POTG junior NCO and not a commissioned officer. For ****s sake.
I don't like your opinion, but nice pivot to "you are just following orders".Salute The Marines said:FriscoKid said:That's why a lot of us are ticked off about the mandates. We have always forced vaccinations. When you get to down to less than 0.50% of the military that refuses to follow an order on something they've always had to do I assume bad apples. You don't like my opinion? Fine, don't agree with it.

I get it. What a shame. Shame on leadership for forcing unnecessary medical procedures on young, healthy adults. Shame on those who coaxed people into getting it when they were hesitant but their bosses pushed it on them. Shame on you for name calling a handful of individuals who decided to think for themselves...and guess what...they are actually right
My attitude regarding this topic far exceeds the issue of vaccination. Dissention and disrespect are at, what I feel, is an all time high in the military. NCO's have their hands tied on multiple fronts regarding discipline and enforcement. The new soldiers are constantly disrespectful, question everything, harder to stay on focus and mission. It's rampant and its rotting things from the inside out. So yes, it's a peeve of mine and perhaps some of that is spilling over here in regards to my jaded attitude. So if you're looking for what I get heated or turn into a mega-******* on this topic maybe that's why.
So you're saying that all the posts you made as Bo Danvile and/or Bayside Tiger Ag about your exploits with Eastern European prostitues were lies?Salute The Marines said:
Any service member who actually engages in prostitution should be subject to full UCMJ. To my knowledge, those who post made up stories on the general board of a college football fan forum have little to worry about.

Ever stop and wonder how you are so consistently wrong on this topic?
Judging by the fact that my unit is 100% vac vaccinated and I personally counseled and applied adequate pressure on a few to get there I feel quite satisfied with my efforts on this topic.
You are an unethical individual
The developmental counseling is used for all matters of personal conduct. So is refusing to send people to school for promotion and not signing off on their promotion packets if they refuse to comply with DOD and leadership mandates.
I will use all the tools I'm given as a leader.

The wife works in pharmaceutical sales IIRC and the husband is in the Army Reserves.
That is why Some STM posts are inconsistent with other STM posts
Ok, so you ARE in favor of vaccine mandates then? Because in several other threads I have seen you say that you think everybody should want to take them, but you are against mandating it. Let me go and update my spreadsheet....AGAIN!Salute The Marines said:Rockdoc said:

I am quite pleased with this thread and the vaccination rates in the DOD. And I look forward to seeing O'Connor having yet another case overruled.
