Why is this guy testifying? It's seems crazy. This is pretty poor testimony imho.

If I do not see something on the original and a new detail then emerges after interpolation showing something that was not seen before, is that accurate since detail can not be created by interpolation

He never compared the two.

As a layperson I know that photos are not like a real life item, you cannot see what is already not present no matter how large you magnify it.

I believe he means that the accuracy of the evidence which he allowed is not at a satisfactory level because the judge did not understand the technology used to CREATE the evidence. The state just created evidence and used it. The evidence would not have existed unless the state used a tech to create it with an algorithm where the result can not be known.

Defense saying 1.5 hours is plenty of time for their closing. Prosecution says they'll need at least 2 hours for their first closing and at least 30 for rebuttal.
