Were I the DA, I'd be reconsidering even calling Rosenbaum's GF at this point. She would have to be very well coached to not open those doors during her testimony. Calling her for the mere purpose of saying it was a hospital bag is not worth it.

To me, the first shooting is the most problematic. In the other two, he was being attacked with a skateboard and a gun. I think it's easy to find either of those justified the use of deadly force.
But I still think he's innocent of all three.

The more I see and hear, the more it is apparent that Rittenhouse was a man among boys. He ran towards trouble to defend property, clean up the destruction and to render aid, while most others were out there that night to destroy and hurt others. Rittenhouse deserves a medal and acquittal, including the underage firearm possession count.

What has been alleged in the first one? He was being chased but no idea beyond that. Did the pedo have a weapon?
If it went the way the prosecution says it did, it sounds pretty bad for Rittenhouse
If it went the the defense says, sounds very much in line with self defense
Part of me wants to say, don't bring a long gun to a riot. Same as the antifa guy who got killed in austin. Even so, you still have the ability to protect yourself

Verbal threat, pursuit until Rosenbaum did get Kyle alone in the car parking lot. A shot is fired by Rosenbaum's friend, Ziminski. Rosenbaum goes for Kyle's gun. And McGinnis is there at the time of the shooting.

The prosecution is going to hard about the contents of the bag. It's the entire reason they are calling the gf to the stand. It doesn't really matter what the bag contained because there's nobway Rittenhouse could've know whether it was something benign or something dangerous.

That earlier video clearly shows his mindset, "Shoot me n*gg**!" Who in their right mind runs around a riot shouting that. If I'm on the jury, that shows to me that Rosenbaum was looking to instigate a gun fight, and he later did.
And that could wind up being a very bad decision on the DA's part. I'm also curious how the last charge, illegal possession by a minor, will play into all of this. Kyle has a right to self defense but self defense isn't defined by a gun or limited to a gun only. Kyle could have taken a baseball bat, a heavy chain, or a metal pole to defend himself but he used something he was not legally permitted to carry.
