The first shooting does look to be the most problematic, but also the first guy killed is clearly effing unhinged, unstable, hyper aggressive, and was clearly looking for a fight. So I dunno. It's impossible to know what's going to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk on all the felony counts and get charged with the misdemeanor. Also IANAL.
Not as wonky and ambiguous as you may make it. The exception is if he (or another minor) were out hunting, then he would be permitted to carry. Only FYI, tried looking up Rosenbaum's autopsy report (a/o Huber's) to see if it had anything with regards to the order of bullet entry wounds and other details (front/back, etc.) The autopsy report(s) has not been released or made public:

It's an entirely disingenuous headline. They know what they're doing. They want public opinion and possible threats of violence to once again decide the case rather than the facts.

The straw purchase is a federal offense. And the ATF takes it serious.
Also, these days, most gun guys would have at least one AR. It's a great sporting/hunting rifle. With its interchangeable parts/barrels etc, it's a firearm version of Legos..
