Guys are throwing rocks at him, DA asked, "What did you do?" "Dodged them."
LOL. Ouch, but the witness just testified that he has better decision making and trigger discipline while having rocks thrown at him than Kyle has having a cellophane bag thrown at.
This take is disingenuous at best. Kyle was also shot at while being chased by someone who had just told him he would kill him.

I think it was more about the fact that rocks being thrown at him that it wasn't a direct threat.

That is his opinion. I've seen a moderately small rock to the head knock someone off balance and on tgr ground. Dodging rocks being thrown from distance makes it sound like he thinks he is some matrix badass.

Yes, that is odd.
It could extrapolated that they had a deal going and the attorney who works for his client to get him the best deal didn't want him meeting the defense to muck it up. It also plays into the attorney having a role in that action. Not between his client and the DA but between his lawyer and the DA. Notice the way the DA phrased his questions when he talked directly about the subject. A lawyer's trick.

Is this Kyle's defense attorney or Black's prosecutor?

Were people shooting at the witness? Was he chased and cornered?

The mob was throwing gas bombs at the roof and on the ground. Someone else had a laser pointer on the roof with Black, not Kyle. Kyle was never on the roof.

Is this a serious take? Rocks can kill easily, but, thrown from a distance where one has time to dodge is not the same as being attacked with a skate board while an angry mob is coming for you.

Rittenhouse is getting the "Zimmerman" treatment from CNN.
At some point we need to address the slander and libel laws in this country. Need to be careful though in order to protect free speech. If we have learned anything the Democratic Party leadership, leftist progressives and legacy media will distort laws to attack all political opposition. Wrongly worded, any updated slander/libel laws could open the door to a deluge of frivolous lawsuits.
Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.”

Black was scheduled for trial in September, but the DA asked to continue the trial until January, so Black could testify at this trial.

What is becoming obvious and it's very sad is that black is going to get the book thrown at him after the DA fails to prosecute Kyle. It's sad, but you can see it coming from a mile away.

The sling will keep the gun close to you, until someone takes the sling off of you. Also, what if Rosenbaum has a knife? Hand to hand combat with someone trying to take your AR15 off of you doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

So, the "not enough for use of deadly force" seems like the hill the prosecution is trying to martyr Rittenhouse on. Hope people aren't stupid enough to believe it.

That was a stupid question by the DA. No one will believe the sling will keep someone from being disarmed of their weapon for very long...including the guys who tried to grab his gun away.

I wonder if he'd feel the same way if pedo-midget had threatened, chased, and was closing in on his kid?

Who knows. I just hope this kid gets a fair trial as opposed to the farce we saw months ago.

Yeah, a drop kick attempt on a downed person , heavy skateboard and pistol don't seem to amount to deadly force in the prosecutor's mind. And never mind them attacking him em masse.

I feel better about this jury than Chauvin's. On that jury I saw the respiratory nurse to be one possible holdout and maybe one older guy.

This jury has a lot of gun owners and hunters on it. BUT, the jury is now 20 people and we don't know yet how the judge will determine who gets kicked and who the final 12 will be. So bear that in mind.

Disingenuous must be the board's newest word. Kyle was never shot at, the Zimenski (sp?) fellow was shown pointing up firing a warning shot, and not at Kyle.

Also, if in self-defense, doesn't a responsible gun owner at least try to identify the person shooting at them first and then defend against the offender? Or just fire at people nearest to them.

I seem to recall that right after that night, Grosskruetz's friend gave an interview saying it was Grosskruetz's intent was to shoot and kill Kyle that night.

ADA Kraus: An afternoon witness coming up has three criminal convictions, also a juvenile arrest. Drug charges, it seems. Thirteen years old, should not be counted as priors, appears the defense feels otherwise.

Chirafisi: 10 year rule here?

Schroeder: No. If lifetime history of lawlessness more likely to consider remote convictions, and nature of offense. 2008 incidents not related to truthfulness, THC, and disorderly and damage to property.

Chirafisi: Don't feel strongly, if not going to let them in, you're not going to let them in.
Quote:

ADA Binger: Next witness is one I discussed early about photos and videos, maybe not televise? Don't know if defense objects?

Schroeder: No photo or video of any kind during the testimony of the next witness. Speaking to media here.
Quote:

Well, no public broadcast of this witness, not even named, so I guess I won't have much to say about this witness in particular.
From Branca. Have no clue who this could be.

A warning shot. Horse ***** More like recklessly discharging a firearm. Kyle was disengaging from the threat. He was running from a man who had just vehemently yelled he was going to kill him. Then he hears a shot/s and turns to face the threat. It is not unwarranted at that point to defend yourself especially when the person is trying to take your rifle away from you.

This trial may play out where this young man is wrongfully convicted. But to white knight for the scum that died that night is disgusting.

I believe his back was turned to the gun shot as he was being chased by the pedo, and when he turned around, the pedo was about an arm's-length from him.

We can't be certain what a man with his history would do to a teenager he had been chasing aggressively, but I'd imagine most outcomes would not be good for the teen.
