Even Turley says Garland is "channeling Sgt. Schultz." Goes on to say that Garland could not give any federal statute that gives him the jurisdiction to intervene in school board meetings. Garland expressly said the Loudon incident was a "local matter."

But the letter from NSB expressly referenced that specific meeting. And he relied on the letter in issuing his memo.
