How many of the Taliban in Kabul have lost, or had injured, family members to the Afghan army and the NATO allies in the last 20 years? You think you can trust them to provide security for the people responsible for their losses? We have fought and tried to kill them for all that time, and now you think they are going to set all that aside for optics? Of course, Biden painted himself into a corner, so he has no other option aside from initiating an offensive to control the airport or take back our main base. He doesn't have the stones for that!

It is starting to look like there were in fact NOT military leaders pushing back.

Truth is coming out that the military had contingencies identified. If they truly did. Was bagram the emergency? We're both the Iwo Jima and Reagan in place as a contingency? What else was on the table that apparently got nixed by this administration?
Can't be trumps fault if you change the deal and nixed the military planners.
