Apparently the idea of ISIS vs Taliban vs US isn't exactly correct. No they don't like each other, but they have a common enemy and don't like us more than they don't like each other. Tolly had 6 layers of checkpoints to get where those bombs went off. Tough to believe they're able to hold back thousands of civilians desperately trying to sneak into that airport which would save their lives, but someone with a bomb wrapped around his waste strolled up there no problem.

I've read that culturally, they'll cooperate to the extent it hurts the infidels then get back to fighting each other when the infidels are gone.

Could be wrong, but that makes sense to me.

FYI - it's odd to me. There is a video circulating being used as propaganda of a soldier pushing a woman off of the wall into the sewer moat at the airport.

She obviously tried to make it past a secured area.

I wondered at that time if Massoud, the son, was talking to the Taliban to fend them off while he armed up and got new recruits in and formed a battle plan. Maybe he didn't exactly have the assurances of Russian support he wanted yet, at that time?

This (Massoud Jr.), except I don't know how much work was needed to get Biden to kneel.

If the Taliban wanted to kill Americans they could open up with our own weapons they have and over run the Airport in a few hours. They want us to leave and for them to have assurances that once they start murdering everybody they can, that we won't do anything.

They don't want the US to start hitting targets all over the country and destroying their war stockpile.
