Surprised face.

Biden said it himself- leaving would create chaos. No amount of prepping would stop the chaos.

It makes sense he wouldn't adequately prepare for it.

I truly think they wished chaos but in a fashion that could be responded to with military might from drones or airstrikes. A hands off approach where they can champion their new way of being the world overlords.

Their method was piss poor and left such a vacuum that they have no damn clue of how to approach it now. Spineless bureaucrats are distancing, military leadership is trying to disassociate. Nobody wants to take responsibility and fix this FUBAR situation.

They want American politics for an international issue.

Even the most boot infantry Marine knows there was no reason to abandon Bagram at the time it happened. Keep a few hundred there and draw down the base as much as you can in the meantime. It allows to keep a strong secondary location that is prepared, full of trained personnel and supplies to augment the main evacuation. This is called contingency planning and I would not mind giving him a brief class on that concept. It allows for a more orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan. Would have had days to demil at least some of the base instead of just leaving everything.

The only reason I can see for this decision is the impossible deadline. Which is viable for explaining it somewhat. But he should have, as a combat commander, fought it tooth and nail and on the record before he had to acquiesce to anything. How he allowed America to be shoehorned into a single airport in the middle of a city and surrounded by terrorists is ****ing criminal. Stupid decision, intentional, ignorance, whatever. Doesn't matter. He ****ed up and he ****ed up bad and the situation is in shambles because of it.

Leaving Bagram was a strategic and tactical blunder when it happened and every day validates that more and more.

But dontcha know Ol' Joe and his team thought of EVERY contingency?!?

The ironic thing is they had that chance. They could have slowed the taliban down to a crawl with drones and airstrikes while they where driving down the roads in route to Kabul.

He wanted a claim that he had zero troops, zero deaths, zero injuries. The ability to do that was also zero. Everyone went with what he said.

We lost more American lives than we had been in a decade because he wanted to to have an Instagram post, tweet or campaign advertisment brag

He has failed so much more than his handlers imagined. The media is gnawing at him and they had been pure left propaganda. I didn't see them turning and neither did the liberals

Taliban just letting anybody walk up. You can hear the soldier say "****ing Taliban, don't shoot, but keep your bomb straps on, hey you get get the **** out of here". Something like that.
ISIS-K walks right through the Taliban checkpoints where they can get to a concentrated group of Americans.

And Joe Biden, the Obama idiots in the White House, and the Democrat Party in general still believe they can be trusted?

We've got 13 reasons why they can't be relied upon on any level. Those should be enough to end this relationship right now.

It was the Taliban. It wasn't isis K. That's a freaking excuse.

So Biden's intel and state, like Obama's, was so seditious or stupid it ignored warnings about an incoming attack. Remember Obama's FBI let the Boston attack unfold despite warning from Russia about the culprits.

Oh you know it... Because we are trusting the Taliban, the very cause of every problem, to be our mercenaries and assume that their fundamentalist reason for existence is not a conflicting issue.

Last part says it all. Biden and his administration has done more harm to American might and credibility than any other single entity in history. That includes our enemies. And they did it in less than 8 months.

Quote:

It's not clear how many German nationals are still left in the country. The German Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that some 200 German citizens are still believed to be in Kabul.
The number has even been rising "because people continue to report to us," a spokesperson said.
Lucas Wehner of the Sponsorship Network for Afghan employees told DW: "History will show this evacuation operation definitely started too late and ends too early, and it's a huge shame for our country and the entire Western forces."

When are other NATO nations ending their operations?

France has announced that it will end its evacuation operations on Friday afternoon.
The UK is planning to end its airlift efforts before US forces depart at the end of the month.
The Netherlands said it will carry out its last evacuation flight from Kabul on Thursday.
Denmark said its last flight carrying troops and diplomats had already left Kabul's airport.
Poland and Belgium have already ended their evacuations and withdrawn all military personnel from Afghanistan.
Hungary said its army had evacuated all Hungarian citizens from Afghanistan.
The situation is so tenuous that other countries are abandoning their people. Germany just said good luck to their 200+ nationals still there and flew away.

I am still struggling to internalize the magnitude of all of this. And I don't think most Americans here truly comprehend what is happening both in Kabul and on the world stage.

The media is able to haggle him now because their controllers won, stole the election, ended america, and now comtrol all of the leadership on both parties completely. Anyone that replaces biden will be under control as well. That is the only reason this can happen

What was the name of Trump's rescue operation that Biden cancelled? I know it's posted somewhere in this thread but I'd prefer not to hunt.
