You realize several of the people that oversee the Texas electrical grid aren't living in Texas. They aren't there in their constituents' hour of need. They are in their state with power living comfortably with six figure salaries.

The timing couldnt be worse for his vacation. Most likely it was planned a while back, but he is an elected official in public office. This is the job he signed up for and he should know more than anyone the optics of doing something like this during a natural disaster in the state he was elected to represent. He could at least tweet something out regarding a resource or a phone number or something people could use for assistance. So far we got nothing from him. He's just as bad as all the other losers in DC
