I realize he won't be able to pass national legislation quickly enough to make an impact but IMO being elected senator you have a greater responsibility than just passing legislation. Your state deserves the influential power you hold to try and help them. Get on the phones with other senators/ governors to ask for assistance they can send.

Most were not zoom calls. They asked for volunteers to call and check on senior citizens. Maybe I'm old school and believe those that live in the community know who are most in need are better to be checked on by those within the community, not a politician who will have cameras around.
