I remember vividly multiple times in my childhood my father telling me to be respectful to cops, if they ask questions to respond and comply to any and all of there questions/orders. If you get pulled over, make sure to place both hands on the wheels, etc..

I remember when I was 12 my father got me a paintball gun that me and friends would shoot in the back of the neighborhood and he warned me many times that even a paintball gun can be taken for a real weapon and if anyone/especially law enforcement approaches me to set it down so they know I am not a threat.

It is NOT about the color of your skin. It is how you present yourself and respond to/treat others. If you act like a thug you going to get treated like one no matter your skin color. If you don't comply and resist you are going to get treated like someone who is a threat.

There was an easy way for him to make that happen. Don't carry a knife and brawl with cops when they're arresting you for felony sexual assault. Don't go to your car and reach in for something?? Didn't he also have a DV conviction with strangulation as well. Great guy to represent your cause.

If the guy that was walking after her turned around and went into his vehicle, she would have shot him, too.

I understand you want the cop to wait and see if Blake was going to turn around with a gun while the cop couldn't see what he was grabbing, but that's not how it works.

Blake had a warrant out for his arrest.
