We don't know why the cops shot him. He was reaching in the car. Was there a gun there? Did he have a knife? They just assume the cops were wrong

And he had plenty of time to let them arrest him for his outstanding warrant. He didn't. Cops are not obligated to wait and see if someone is going to turn around with a gun.

They tried to tase him already, it failed. They also tried to restrain him before, he fought them.
