Why not? It's a tip. You solve cases by looking at all of the evidence. It was a VERY close match BTW. It's easy to dismiss without the pictures (and staff is clear that we shouldn't post them) but it'd be a solid lead no matter where it came from.

If she was not involved, and Isaiah is really a friend of hers, he needs to man up and admit who wrote note. Whoever conspired to pull of the hoax is definitely worthy of ridicule, even without a crime being committed.
I am not convinced by the "handwriting" analysis (other than finding it interesting, it's certainly not a slam dunk), but I am convinced Isiaih put those notes on his own windshield, so he knows who wrote them.
