If thats what he feels is part of the apology, cool. If not, it's up to those folks that helped aid this to come forward. They need to apologize also.

However, I'm guessing that the main instigator, already packed up her belongings and headed home.....the handwriting always looked a little feminine to me. She still has a chance to apologize though.


It's really not a tough decision, a) grow up and show some maturity by asking for forgiveness and moving on w a degree in your hand that you earned or b) let your pride take over and suffer the consequences throughout the rest of your life.


I'm still willing to forgive him and the others but that window is closing the longer this goes on.

I bet a surprising amount of people would be willing to publicly accept his apology if he made one. I know it'd go a long way with me. Mostly because the Marxist strategy is to double down, forever and ever. It'd be nice to see someone say "enough is enough".

Especially if he named the writer. It wasn't him. It would be the actual bravery that everyone claims Kellen is showing.

I understand your position, but when someone is involved in a criminal conspiracy, and is asking for leniency, a condition of a "lesser sentence" is almost always to turn States evidence on your co-conspirators.

That would be appropriate here, especially if, as TexAgs believes, the co-conspirators include people who are actively trying to drag A&M through the mud over the LS Ross statue.

Yes. He'd have to come clean about what he and his crew have been up to. There's some ties that could indicate they were involved with the original vandalism, so that would be a good thread to tie it all together.

Uh....that's really not "accepting" his apology.

I get where your coming from though. He needs to suffer some consequences. To me, being labeled as Isiah Martin Racist Hoax - Letter guy and being outed is enough. That's a pretty big label to wear for the next couple decades.....All of that can be deleted with a simple," I'm sorry for what I did, can you all please forgive me?"

It's a shame, he's probably not going to apologize. You'll get you wish, he's going to be expelled. And then he'll regret his decisions for the rest of his life.

If he doesn't get expelled, if he is a poultry science major, as the thread alluded to, he needs to understand that there are a lot of Ags in that industry that may not be willing to look the other way as he's applying for jobs. Not because they are racists, but because they won't be able to trust him.

Apologies don't negate consequences. If my daughter breaks rules and apologizes I will absolutely accept her apology but she will still be punished. There are consequences for poor decisions, no matter how sorry you are for your poor decision.

Why is this such a hard concept for some to grasp? Forgiveness does not mean consequence-less. I'd like the guy to man-up. But he still has to suffer the consequences of filing a false police report and actively trying to slander the the University and all Aggies as racist. No consequences and he will be emboldened instead of chastened by his lies.

Exactly. I'd forgive him... doesn't mean jack squat about his consequences.

edit: I just realized this is actually his second hoax since he claimed a bunch of country boy bubbas shouted "NO BLACKS AT OUR PWI" so he'd have to address that too. He's got a bit of a backlog.

If he apologizes it means I might listen if he said something racist happened to him in the future. Trust but verify.

No apology - I won't believe something happened to him even if show me a video in 4K with a captioned transcript that it is anything other than fake.

I would forgive him. I am a Christian that loves all people.

Would he have forgiven the person if it were a true racial act? Highly doubtful.

Will he admit and apologize, .03% chance of that ever happening.

So I will still say this is one of the most classless, hateful things a person could do.

POC should not stand by idly while this degradation of the true fight for justice is happening.

It only belittles the cause.

I'm all for forgiveness. The issue is he tried to pawn this off on an innocent white guy out walking his dog. This makes me VERY hard for me to feel any sympathy or even be okay with a half assed apology.

If he could've pegged it on this guy, he would have (he tried) and the truth never would've come out.

Another interesting observation and maybe this is a stretch, but she hasn't had a single voicemail since6/17, personal or business related, and now all of the sudden she gets this scathing message?
