I'm someone who hates the current climate of cancel culture on either side but an example needs to be made of this guy and anyone who aided him (cheesecake). No way should A&M allow him to get a diploma from our school when people have been kicked out for far less.
I mean this guy tars and feathers the school as a racist haven fomenting more division on an already tense campus and he's out there staying unequivocally he'll still graduate.

Imagine how much destruction it could have been on the person just walking their dog. That's the saddest part. Young is not just turning a blind eye to a hoax it's turning a blind eye to the attempt of destroying someone for personal gain.

If he simply apologizes (which he won't by the way, victim status *****s never do) what is to stop someone the next time and what if the next time an innocent guy walking his dog has his life ruined instead???????
He was willing to let ANY WHITE PERSON take the fall for this. If there was any chance someone on camera or off might have done it he would have let them hang for it (figuratively) and ruined their lives.

I've seen this a lot, but when you look up the Honor Council and their scope, it appears to apply only to academic violations. I'm having this discussion elsewhere and this was brought up. So could a student be expelled through the Honor Council for behavior, or is it something different? I know it is nitpicky and doesn't matter - he should be kicked out. But?NICU Dad said:
