I will NOT wear a mask. This is an encroachment on our rights. IMO it's okay for businesses to mandate masks, but the state government is NOT entitled to this authority. This is crossing the line.

Following a verbal or written warning for a first-time violator of this facecovering requirement, a person's second violation shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $250. Each subsequent violation shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $250 per violation.

Spoke to an officer yesterday at the local tire shop. Shop owner was pretty irritated by all the mask mandates. The officer told him "we aren't here to take people to jail, if someone calls and complains, we will come and explain the rules and send folks on their way." No intention to issue any citations or penalties.
