I don't disagree with many of the posters here, however, it seems like there are several (you know who you are) who consistently post 'this doesn't look good' twitter links.
I will agree that things are not looking good for containing this virus, most people are looking for legit ways to prevent the spread and not 'holy *****... 'insert twitter post here' this is definitely not good".
Twitter will be the downfall of modern civilization... This is pretty sad coming from a guy who is only 31.
Get involved with your local emergency management committee and ask how you can help.
Volunteer at your local hospital, church, or shelter.
Educate your friends and relatives about Covid-19. Tell them how to prevent being infected, and what the symptoms are. Tell them to prepare for the chance that they or a family member is infected, and ask them what they plan on doing with their children or anyone under their care. Those over the age of 60 need to be especially aware of prevention.
People panic when they don't understand the threat they might face. Water and electricity won't be affected to any extent. Food shortages may occur, but it will be temporary if they do. Schools and businesses may possibly close under extreme circumstances to slow down outbreaks. Vaccines are being developed by over seven different companies at a phenomenal pace, but will probably not be available for a few months. Remdesivir, Kaletra, and chloroquine seem to be effective in treating severe infections, while most people will have mild symptoms, or possibly none.
