Covid broke millions of people.
It's going to take a generation or two (i.e decades) to recover/learn from the mistakes.
In all of American history, there were two events that left such a deep, indelible psychological scar on the United States, that it did not heal until almost all of those who lived through it had passed away.
The first was the Civil War.
The second was The Great Depression.
I said the pandemic would be the third, not because of the virus itself, but because of our response to it.
Sadly, I was 100% correct.
