One of my coworkers is from Indonesia. She had a trip home scheduled next week and has cancelled. She basically said that it's probably a mixture of inability to test, terrible government reporting and some lying to save face and protect any tourism dollars. She thinks they probably have thousands to tens of thousands of cases due to the proximity to China.Nuclear Scramjet said:

I'm currently rinsing my mouth with OGD114. That should keep be safe for a couple of hours. Or longer if I need to replenish the supply.

Indonesia is as bad as China and Iran in spreading this. Their response to the low number of cases has been, "God is protecting us." \_()_/aezmvp said:One of my coworkers is from Indonesia. How do they track these? How do they know 200 people had the exact same strain of a virus?

Does China report Flu deaths?
They don't have to report anything, but i'm curious if their flu numbers have remained about the same.
Or maybe they are "reclassifying" deaths to make it look like this is under control.
Some viruses that are spread by sneezing ride in tiny water droplets that will, in dry air, evaporate. Such viruses tend to be far more infectious in the winter when the air is cooler and wetter. It is quite possible that this is the same in this case, too.thirdcoast said:
Other than very humid Singapore and Indonesia, the temperature across italy, s Korea, and china ranges from 40-60 F. I wonder if warm dry air limits COVID growth?
