Well, I figured that out when your post started with "Warren said."VaultingChemist said:

It would be a shame if instead of this bio-weapon leading to a 'regime change' in America, it actually happened in Iran. Thanks in advance, chicoms.PJYoung said:Ag In Ok said:lunchbox said:
This is stunning - how quickly this virus hit the upper tier of a nations government.
It speaks to how widespread it is in Iran, despite the 245 or whatever official cases. I have no doubt there are many thousands of actual cases, because of the # of dead and the fact that public figures have already gotten it.

Word on the street is that China went into media suppression overtime.
Shut off internet in parts. People working around the clock to monitor social media. Even people to post pro-Government propaganda in the mean time.
...My favorite part is that you don't see them talking about their 2 week built hospitals anymore now do you?
Quote:
"Once you have the infection, it could remain dormant and with minimal symptoms, and then you can get an exacerbation if it finds its way into the lungs," said Philip Tierno Jr., professor of microbiology and pathology at NYU School of Medicine, according to the news organization.
"I'm not certain that this is not bi-phasic, like anthrax," Tierno Jr. said in regards to the disease being able to go away before reappearing.

Has anyone received any substantive news or phone calls out of china in the last 2 weeks? Other than government announcements?
Other than a couple of 'feel good' anecdotal stories, one 'kid found alone with dead grandparent' stories, i can find nothing. My old chinese contacts are totally silent now. Ive seen info saying that all internet access in and out of china is essentially shut down. Is this true?
The lack of 'unofficial' updates out of china is as disturbing as anything right now.

The saudi's cancelled it. Which is sad, because I always laugh at the stampedes that happen annually when a bunch of them get run over as they get excited circling their dumb rock.KorbinDallas said:

Umrah can be taken any time of the year; Hajj is what you might be thinking of. That's the big one with millions of attendees.nortex97 said:The saudi's cancelled it.
