Interesting read of the replies to the original tweet.
Time to break out the tin foil, in very large quantities.

Seems that the Gates Foundation funded Pirbright Institute, the owner of the patented Coronavirus. For what the corona virus was developed is under conjecture.

Lots of fodder for the tin foil types.

Someone explain why this is a big deal. Ebola was going to kill us all. So was H1N1... so was whatever that virus in the carribean that hurts pregnant chicks. Then suddenly it's all a nothing burger.

What gives?

Ebola isn't spread via airborne droplets and it kills people too quickly for sustained widespread pandemics to occur.

Under the right scenario, a novel respiratory virus could kill hundreds of millions of people in a matter of months with modern travel as it is.
But would China had made something like that and openly patented it? It sounds like it must have lesser power than that if patented. Or it would mean Gates needs to be arrested.

He wanted to fund ways to make the human race safe. Hopefully, this isn't a total backfire.

Why would such be made in the first place? Let alone "patented".

It's silly tin foil hat nonsense. This strain likely mutated in and originally spread from a species of snake in China.

The patent was for a version of this that was less lethal / transmittable.

Doubt this strain has anything to do with what Gates helped fund.

Agree on likelihood. Or that nonsense of eating live rats. Rats have transmitted many a plague. And by being live, that de-facto means not sterilization or sanitary aspect of it.

Just that 2018 quote of patent and a specific item catches the eye.

I believe that they were researching ways of combatting animal viruses, but the patented Coronavirus was supposed to be relatively benign.

If there are 550 cases in Hong Kong. I am more likely to believe Hong Kong, since they aren't the mainland China. That really means 8000+ cases on the mainland.

For the scientifically inclined/interested among us, here's the pre-published paper describing the sequencing of the virus from 5 early cases:

And here's an overview of the epidemiological characteristics although 2 days old at this point:

You wrote that a little wrong, I think. I certainly hope you don't mean you are *there* with your mentioned susceptibility?

The incubation and result rates in Hong Kong should start shedding some light. There is more open information from there.

No I missed some words I think. I meant I'm more likely to believe things coming out of Hong Kong than mainland China.

I am going to go ahead and post this. I dont want to over-alarm, and dont know anything about this outbreak, so i am not saying this is what is happening. So far i dont even think this is what is happening, and am not personally acting in any major way to prepare for anything. But aggies deserve to know the worst case - proven to be possible - scenario.

The russians in the 80's and 90's are known to have engineered *and produced* viruses as deliverable biowarfare agents that are air-transmitable, and hit like the flu for 2 weeks; then symptoms subside like normal flu, patient believing recovered. Then it hits again with reportedly 100% fatality rates.

Several books are out on it. The us had no clue until a defector tipped us and yeltsin ended up admitting he had continued the biopreparat program.

If the chinese with their corrupt culture and construction practices built a bio research lab near the origin point and were copying something like that, it might explain them quarantining 11 cities. Which by the way is now the top 11 quarantines in all of human history.

'The favorite "battle strains" were anthrax (Strain 836), Pasechnik's super-plague, and a special Russian strain of tularemia (Schu-4). By 1991, Alibek stated that Russian scientists had "improved" all three of these so that they could overcome all immune systems and current medical treatments.24 In May 1998, Alibek testified before the U.S. Congress:
It is important to note that, in the Soviet's view, the best biological agents were those for which there was no prevention and no cure. For those agents for which vaccines or treatment existed such as plague, which can be treated with antibiotics antibiotic-resistant or immunosuppressive variants were to be developed.25
Although Biopreparat had worked with a highly virulent, rapidly infectious "battle strain" of smallpox (India-1) since 1959, they began research in 1987 to develop an even more virulent smallpox weapon, and tested it in 1990.26'

Why would they invent something with no prevention or no cure?

Out of sheer spite, would have advised them if there is just one of us left, we are firing ALL of the H-bombs to make up for it.

So is it the Chinese govt who is issuing the releases on the cities being quarantined? They're okay sharing that info, but not the exact numbers of sick/dead?

Beyond Trump calling Xi and hoping to get truthful info, what ability do we have to get the facts? Military, satellites, spooks on the ground? I guess our foreign news bureaus and ex-pats working over there also.

Satellites could confirm right now if this claim of a bunch of tent cities outside hospitals is true, as vs some kind of absurd fraud.

Presumably spooks on the ground could confirm easily if bodies actually are on the streets or were,or anything like that really going on.

Put another way, this is the kind of thing that President Trump and the NSA should know what is true or not about the twitter feeds and stuff we are seeing by even tomorrow. We are just speculating on some alarming imagery--- the administration has the power to know if it is true imagery or alot of the equivalent of fake videos.

Absolutely none. China always lied to us and continues to lie to us about everything. Anyone who thinks the Chinese have ever been honest with the outside world is an idiot.

Now they may have told North Korea the truth. They closed the border fairly quickly. North Korea doesn't have the advanced medicine to even attempt to cope with an epidemic.

What does this mean?
It means that the patents of coronavirus were likely for other strainsnot the Wuhan strain.

The current name given to coronavirus at hand is 2019-nCoV.
As far as I can tell, there is no confirmation that the strain causing the outbreak is one of the ones patented.
At this point, it's highly likely the patent proof cited above doesn't applyit might be for coronaviruses, but we don't know for sure if it's the Wuhan strain.

Does that mean there is something suspicious potentially happening too?
You bet.
At the very least, it's likely the media will sensationalize this and make drug companies piles of cash in the process.
And more damning evidence might surface soon.
Keep your eyes peeled.
Some further information about patented coronaviruses.

The **** they invented is so *******ed ****ing diabolical it is literally incomprehensible. What i posted about isnt even the worst. Its just the one they made that could fit the current pattern.

Read up on alibek, pasechnik, biopreparat. I learned forst from the annie jacobs books, and alibek wrote one himself.

Congress is being briefed tomorrow at 10:30. That may be from NSA info, and perhaps even as we key, President Trump is hearing more of the "inside story". Our assets - and Japan's and Korea's -- on the ground in China might not be able to learn the truth of the type of virus or how came about---but they will be able to say whether some of the descriptions we are hearing are just misleading videos. Some of those look odd, if not even staged.

Well at least President Bush (43) set the bar where it needed to be. Remember in October 2002 he announced that any use of bio-weapons or chemical, we would basically do as posted above -- and *fire* the missiles. We would consider it a nuclear attack, and respond along M.A.D. lines.

That is the proper response to what you describe.

They did also have a 'dead hand' automatic nuke launch response if no human command was given. We didnt even ****ing know about it. Why build a doomsday deterrent device, and not let the people you are trying to deter with it know it existed!?
