Why do they need the hearing? Couldn't these guys just talk to the MSNBC and CNN panels like they normally do? They aren't going to say anything different to Nadler.

This is how you know they don't have any real evidence.

The soundbites will merely feed the mob for another news cycle or two as the combined efforts of Nadler and Schiff create enough cover for a vote they knew they were going to have in November of '18.

The Republicans held both chambers in 2015-2018 and could have investigated in real time. No interest in this matter, the state department position on Shokin was also supported by Republican Senators. The interest only started toward the end of '18 when dirt, even if fake news dirt, became important on a certain person polling 10 points higher than Trump.

How surprising. That is not just taking a "don't get involved, why should we care" -- he really did say take Russia's side in a war with Ukraine. That is pretty incredible. (Leave aside that taking either side of a land war with Russia on their border in Ukraine would be suicide.
