The president of the ABA wrote a letter to Grassley and Skeletore demanding Kav not be confirmed due to him being a rapey drunk back in the day. It was Sunday/Monday IIRC

The key part of this though, is that the original rating of "Well Qualified" that the ABA made on Kavanaugh stands. This letter states that the ABA are going to reopen their evaluation based on 9/27, but are admitting that they will not give a new rating before the vote tomorrow.
